For a rear bike rack, the perfect tail light
*Perfect rear bike light, with reflector "wings" on each side.*It is a 2 piece assembly of a mounting plate and the main "light body" sliding into it.*Easy to install, with multiple display modes.*Cells firmly held in place so bouncing won't turn off light.*No problem in keeping the "light body" mounted IF the body is FIRMLY pushed down and the locking snap is heard. Never came off with hard road bounce.*To avoid water intrusion, Check the orange seal is engaged around the lens after changing cells.* With all LEDs constantly"on", current is about 30 ma at 2.4v(1.2v per nimh cell). So, charge should last at least 25hrs; 50 hrs min if all LEDs blink. May be longer yet with the single LED sequence mode. Don't know about the supplied GP cells.

Works well with light modification
I love that it functions well as a reflector as well as a light. It makes me feel a lot more secure that even if the batteries die people will still see it.the mounting bracket works well as long as itโs fully engaged, itโs easy to replace the batteryโs, it takes standard aaa which is nice cause I donโt have to buy weird ones or worry about it not taking a charge as it ages.My one gripe, and itโs fairly major but correctable with a little handiness, is that the button to turn on the light is too exposed and will end up being pressed when you have the light in your pocket. Since most of the setting are lights on settings, this means it will run down the battery while itโs not in active use and will make potentially embarrassing flashes come from your pants pocket. I ended up dealing with this by cutting the tip off a valve stem cover, then pressing the melting that valve stem cover over the curved raised area where the button protrudes making sure that itโs ending height would be just over that of the button and then super gluing it there carefully so as not to super glue the button itself. This modification wasnโt a big deal to me but I could see how it would be to some. This is the only light I could find anywhere in this price range that mounts to reflector brackets and doubles as a reflector. The batters running down might be less of an issue for you is you donโt care about a flashing light in your pocket and use two sets of rechargeable aaa batteries and just have a spare on hand in case itโs night time and you need to use it.Do use some kind of rear light if you might commute. Night vision starts to go as people age and a number of drivers have told me that the only reason they saw me was because I was using a rear tail light. Get valve stem lights too, spoke reflectors and a headlight as well. Stay safe out there.

Nice light. Fit perfect
Needed a light for my wife's bike that I could attach to her carrier. This seemed to be the only light that I could get that would work. Did have to supply my own two nuts and bolts to attach it but went on easily. She's very happy. Used it today on out bike ride. Works just fine.

Nice light for the price, but not weather tight
This light does everything it promises for the price. Its bright enough (I've seen brighter lights), the various modes are a nice touch, and it doesn't eat batteries. I use the light most days and I am always surprise at how long I go in between replacing them. for the price, its a nice light that should suit the average rider. My only complaint is that I have had it stuck on due to water getting inside. It has a gasket around the battery compartment, but it seems that water penetrated the housing where the button is. I'm a year round commuter and ride in all sorts of weather in Upstate New York. Wind, rain, snow, heat we have it all. Last winter my light was stuck on and then non-functioning for two-three weeks due to rain, snow, or road salt - who knows. The button wasn't responding at all. I had to remove the batteries to get it to turn off. It eventually dried out and went back to normal operation, but it's not truly weatherproof. It's never been submerged, but heavy downpours, puddle splashes, road salt will penetrate this light. But, it's back to normal operation so I'd say its resilient!

Simple and Effective Light
This light works for me because of its reflective ability as well as the light. I mounted it on a Topeak bike rack with bag. Other people said that the activation button on the back of the light was hard to get to. Because my rack is built more openly, I can reach the button on the light without any trouble at all. I like that the light has many displays depending what interests you at the time. It has 4 LED's which in the dark should be no problem to see. It is a little hard to see during daylight or twilight. I only use it in the dark anyway. During the day the reflector works great. I also like that the batteries are super easy to change out.

Perfect fit for the rack on my cruiser bike
This is one of the few tail lights sold at Amazon.com that has both horizontal and vertical bolt holes to fit most bike racks. Fits my rack perfectly and looks beautiful. The on/off button is positioned perfectly for easy access. It has a reflector as well as a light, so I was able to replace a broken reflector and still meet the local ordinances that require a red rear reflector.

Top drawer bike light
This is a sturdy, very good quality bike taillight that affixes to the rear of a bike cargo rack. It is large and should be able to be seen at night from quite a distance.I definitely would purchase one of these, again!

Like it
Liked: good looks, robust design, light bright, easy to fit, and reliable.Improvements: slightly hard to change the battery as the carrier on my Electra Cruiser slightly obstructs the slot to open the light - but a minor issue.

Looks good
Item and packaging looks well made. 4 light on modes. 3 flashing 1 constant. Screws provided are good enough for flat screw mounts on rack. Had to buy longer ones to fit my tubular rack. Rack bracket is stiff which is a plus. Reflective area is also another plus.

Perfect fit
When installed correctly this is a perfect fit for the Ibera PakRak IB-RA5 Touring Plus Bicycle Carrier. I am very happy with this product.Update: I purchased another for second bike with the same rack. This light, however, is a different shape than the first one I purchased, and, this puts the switch in a less accessible (but still usable) position.Still an excellent product.
