Maternal-Newborn Nursing Care: Best Evidence-Based Practices

This book is definitely a helpful guide for a maternal-newborn class in nursing school. It is an easy read, and cuts to the meat and potatoes of the subject matter. It is broken down in segments and progresses chronologically with anterpartum, labor and delivery, and post partum. This fit well in my scrub pants pocket and makes a good tool to take on clinicals. The back cover of the book also acts as a built in book mark too. This is a must have for nursing students. If it's not required for your class, I'd still buy it for reference.

Such a helpful book for both nurses, nurse practitioners and nurse midwives. This book is easy to carry with you and serves as an excellent reference for providers in OB. The content is divided into easy-to-search topics and is also written in a way that is easy to understand.

Very concise and helpful during my OB clinical. I did notice though, that some of the lab value were not consistent with my full OB textbook. Just something to keep in mind.

My book was missing a part of the index. It started part way through the alphabet. The actual material was helpful and clear though.

Book is very helpful! It describes everything in detail and helps for my maternal class. The key points at the end of the chapter are also great.
