DORSAL Signature Surf SUP Single Center Fin for Longboard Surfboard Black Glass Filled Nylon

Works well. I bought a plastic SUP from Home Depot and the included fin was very small, so the board didn't track well. It's a cheap plastic board and I wasn't expecting too much in the way of performance but having to switch sides after each paddle stoke was annoying. I was going to get rid of it but did some research and decided to try a larger fin. I'm getting around 3-4 paddle stokes a side now, so will hang onto the board as it can take a bit of a beating and not worried if my kids are rough with it. At least now I can go for a casual paddle and enjoy it. The first time I fitted the fin it was a bit tight in the slot but that was more to do with my board than the fin. I had to force it a bit the first time but after that it fits fine. I take it off every time I transport the board on my roof racks.

I was given a stand up paddle board that was minus the fin (no fun to paddle).. This was the least expensive fin I could find and I just hoped it would fit the 'standard' slot that all boards supposedly have (but apparently not all are exactly the same). I ordered the stainless steel plate and screw sets at the same time. It all fitted nicely. This board will be used now and then by beginners. The fin may not be the perfect size for all applications but it looks good and gets the board tracking again.

I picked up a Rogue stand-up paddleboard on clearance, but it didn't come with a fin. I put this on it, it installed in 2 minutes with a philips-head screwdriver (the board had the little rectangular nut already in the fin channel, so you might need to purchase that separately if using one of these fins). It fit great and worked like a champ. It comes with a nice neoprene cover too to keep it from getting scratched up when you are loading it on your surf wagon, but I take it off each time to keep it from getting dinged.

I was at first a little hesitant because of the plastic build. However, this fin has taken a beating and is still fighting strong. I ride my board all the way into dry land and this thing stays on rock solid. Great fin. I'll probably buy more as backups to leave in the car.

Works very well but had to shave off a little to fit in slot @ back.

I was unable to get this fin into the fin box of my California Board Company 11' Kahakai SUP. In addition, this fin has the screw attachment on the trailing edge while the fin that came with my SUP has the screw attachment on the leading edge. I returned it (and am thankful for Amazon.com's return policy -- it looks like I will get a full credit and won't have to pay for shipping).

This has proven to be sturdy and great value. I’m delighted. Have already bought another for future use
