Cheap, shoddy work
The porcelain figurine was cute enough, but I could have bought one just as cute at a Family Dollar. On the bottom, the music box wasn't even attached to the base. It had come off. Looking at the opening in the base, it looked like someone had super glued it in. The platform that the music box was attached to was cut in some wierd, misshapen oblong like a kid had cut it. It was also too small to fit very well in the base itself without falling in. I didn't have time to replace it, so I had to create a whole new insert for the music box portion and use professional glue to secure it to the bottom of the figurine. Not worth $3, much less $30.
