This is a modified not a pure sine wave just as it says in the first line of the description. Wish I had paid better attention to the first sentence. Does not work with my induction burner. Works great with everything else. Box fan has a slight hum to it when plugged into this inverter but still works good. Box fan did not work at all with my last power inverter. But with the new pure sine wave inverter I just bought it doesn't hum at all and my induction burner works great. But back to this power inverter it was shipped quickly and packed Professionally arrived early and in new condition. I had it installed in my new semi and it does everything a claimed to do. The unit is quiet and makes no noise when being used Under heavy load. All in all it is a great unit for the price. But this is a modified sine wave not a pure sine wave.

this uses a 1/2 hole lug for dc connections ,.started a 12k marine air with no problems where my honda will not .., remote on off switch is only 10'

Schneider electric customer service is worthless. That's the problem when a big company with other big products buys out a small company (Heart Freedom). Will never buy another xantrex product.

I understand Schneider Electric acquired Xantrex, and is supposed to handle warranty issues. I just spent about 7 weeks going back and forth, hiring an electrician to verify the faulty unit, and asking for a replacement under warranty. Promises here, promises there. No status reports. I would wait a week or so after some action was promised, then call. Each time I was disappointed, as nothing had really been done. I practically memorized my "case number". They all implied they were just an agent of Xantrex. Said I have to deal with Xantrex directly. Today I found out that they own Xantrex! Everyone seemed pleasant and helpful, on the phone. I finally had my contractor call last week. He was assured that enough info had been presented and a unit would be forthcoming. Today, they just have a note that someone talked to him. Now, they decided they would not send a unit (they don't have any) or a suitable replacement, but that I need to pack up the unit and send it to them so they can try and fix it. I gave up, am buying a Fronius, and trying to wash this disgusting taste from my mouth. Good luck if you have to try and deal with this company.
