years ago I purchased a Cold steel Kahana from a knife dealer. I paid 600.00 plus for the product. I gave it away to a family member and I recently sought to replace that sword. I purchase the one from Amazon for under 300.00it is the same sword, cold steel , and a quality product with no defects. I could chop down a tree with this sword, if I ever wanted too.Hope this helps.

Hows this blades 1055 material compaired to 1045?

I think it’s more flexible but not entirely sure

Is this combat worthy

I don't know, I've never been in combat with it.

can you wear this on a belt or strap if so how? if needed what would i need to have this attached to a harness of sorts

yes you can attach it to a belt or to your person, you would just need the appropriate gear so that is fits nicely. My husband attaches it to his belt with a scabbard of sorts.
