I'm a little on the fence with these because I was expecting a bit more water retention to hold humidity levels for my orchids during the dry winter conditions. When I spray them, the water seems to just drain right out them and not really soak through. I expected them to be more like coconut coir and absorb the water. Aesthetically, they are quite pleasing, just not sure it is going to work for my originally intended use. I've got a feeling they'll end up in the frog terrarium.

This product was ordered for a specific plant. It is just the right size. I will have another one in reserve.

This was a massive let down. It is marketed as a mount for epiphytes, but the material is so flimsy and brittle by the time you take it out of the Amazon box most of it has turned to powder. It made a mess. There is no chance a plant will reliably attach and hang from this it's too weak.

This tree fern board is so different than any other tree fern boards I have used. The boards are much denser and stay hydrated for days...not hours like most tree fern boards. I soak the boards for about 30 minutes to start and then when I rewater, the board sucks the water up and stays damp for a long time. All the orchids I have mounted on the tree fern have done well, especially the smaller plants with small roots that need more hydration. I highly recommend this product for growing orchids.

I needed it so I bought it. definitely does its job. I would recommend it if you're looking.

Not solid , break easy not easy to use with breaking it

Purchased for a staghorn fern. Works well for plant, stable.
