I like this bike lock/alarm so far. Comes with extra batteries and a plastic coiled reminder cord. I use it to secure my foldable ebike. Alarm is plenty loud enough for me. I don't think it's too sensitive either. I accidentally set it off one time when I was removing my ebike from a bike rack and forgot to remove the alarm. I use it with sturdier bike lock. I don't park my ebike outside overnight and when I'm out and about on my ebike I don't usually leave it parked in public spaces for very long. I do like the extra piece of mind that comes with using it. Let's face it, there's no way to make a bike completely secure in a public place. The best you can do is make thief consider easier targets to steal if they come across your alarmed and locked bike. I picked a red color because I wanted the alarm to be noticed and the orange reminder cord also helps. It comes with bag with a Velcro strap so you can attach the alarm to your bike frame when not in use

It’s possible it could be easier to duplicate than more advanced locks, so I wouldn’t rely on it as your only layer of protection. That said, for the price, it’s an excellent secondary lock to have. This is not a lock you cannot cut or break, but it will wake up the whole neighborhood for the time it takes to cut this. It is loud, but it also has a kind of wavelength that drills into your brain. Hard to bear the alarm. It is also very sensitive. It is attached to the front wheel, but it will warn you even if you touch the back wheel! I feel my bike is well protected with this, plus other measures that I already had in place.

I've owned and used this lock for an entire riding season. Its batteries have lasted that long, and have shown no indication of running out. It's small but heavy, and my god is it sensitive. Maybe that's the only thing I dislike about it is how oversensitive it can be- if I know it'll rain, I'll make sure to put it on the back wheel instead of the front wheel, because if the rain hits it, it will go off. It's been very sturdy, and I find I don't use the cable it comes with. It's so sensitive that if you even start opening up the tail bag casually instead of carefully, it'll beep at you. I live in an area where there are people around all the time, so I use it as more of a 'pay attention to me, I'm getting stolen!!' alarm than an actual theft deterrent. When I sleep, I leave my window cracked open. If anyone touches the bike, even the neighbor's cat, it'll chirp and I'll know to listen to see if it goes into full scream-mode. The alarm itself is pretty loud and piercing. It does hurt my ears up close, and it's *very* noticeable even several hundred feet away. (Definitely wakes me up at night when it rains and I forget to move it to the sheltered brake rotor on the back wheel!) Pros: -small, easy to store -very durable -loud -battery lasts long -water and weather resistant/proof -direction of unlocking twist (clockwise) means that if you mount it right, it's easier to unlock without going off Cons: -Can be oversensitive -Goes off in the rain -lock mechanism is beginning to get a bit stiff after one year of weather-induced neglect Would I buy it again? Oh yeah, it's perfect for my use-case scenario.

Solid lock to keep the looky loos and honest people out. Doubt it will hold up to professional thieves, I use a couple of Kryptonite U-Locks through the wheels and brake/sprocket for overnight storage. But if you're looking for something to keep people from rolling away/stealing your bike while you're in a store or bar for a bit, this is a good option. The alarm is really loud and will activate if someone tried to tip or roll your bike. I like the bright chord because it draws attention to the fact that it's locked. It packs easily in my KLX300 Dualsport stock rear fender bag.

I got 3 of these all at the same time. The quality feels good. The alarm portion however needs some work. 2 of them go off of you so much as look at them wrong or when ever they feel like going off and the last one I literally had to kick it 4 or 5 times before it beeped at me and then the alarm went off. Figured I should just change the batteries in all of them and try again. Well, that change anything. Still got 2 that just randomly go off and one that I can pick around the garage and throw up against a wall before it will go off. But out side that they are ok for the price. I'd give at least one more star if I had bought one and had an issue. But all 3 that's not good stats on the alarm portion.

Extremely loud! Reliable! I clipped it on my moped because theives stole it last time (thank God for built in GPS tracking I was able to get it back) and I feel more at ease 🙏🏼 Tested it out and man does it ever hurt your ears. Piercing sound. Should wake up the whole neighborhood. Will update how long the battery lasts. So far so good.
