Depending on the size you get. These are glass and have good heft to them.

Is this clear & free of bubbles?

The glass is beautifully clear and you can see completely through the globe but inside the glass globe are many, many round little bubbles of various sizes. Absolutely breathtakingly gorgeous. A unique, elegant piece for the money. you won't be disappointed

what kind of stand do you use for this glass ball?

My stuff is in storage . But a small wooden one would be nice

Does this come with a stand?

Yes it comes with a stand. View the last listing photo at the top. I did return my ball because it was not as photo shows. Pin head bubbles filled the ball. Not pretty, or larger bubbles more centered as shown. I have re-purchased in the hopes that I get what the maker is selling.
