Product ID: 19791158
Honeyville's Freeze Dried Apples are light and crisp, while the flavors have the perfect balance of sweet and tart that only comes from the freshest apples. You can use them for any application that calls for apples, including eating them right out of the can as a healthy snack. Honeyville's freeze dried apples are great for pies, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, the possibilities are endless! Honeyville Freeze Dried Apples are produced in a process where moisture is removed from the product using a very low temperature and a vacuum. Only about 3 percent moisture remains in the product at the time of packaging. The end product weight is reduced by over 90 percent, while the volume stays the same. This remarkable process concentrates the fresh taste, natural color, and texture of apples. When rehydrated, the product will absorb the liquid and resemble fresh apples once again. The taste is great, and the nutritional value is preserved. Freeze drying provides natural and additive free fruits to be stored effectively for long periods of time. Honeyville Freeze Dried Apples are an ideal product for long term food storage and emergency preparedness.

very satisfied.
Good quality apples, very small diced. With peel on but that's ok. What's nice is there's almost no sharp core pieces. Ive used about 2 cups and got 1 tiny core piece. As opposed to another brand. I don't enjoy sharp pieces that have to be spit out. Can was full. The apples are not overly sweet, nor bitter. I have eaten them straight out of can and they're good in my humble opinion.

A little bland
When I got this all the pieces were stuck together. When rehydrated they are a little bland. Works well though
