I used it to clean thinset out of 1/8" grout lines. It worked great.

I use these for small kitchen and shower grout repair and they work well. The blades will cut through old grout pretty well with several passes over each area. Nice to have it come with multiple blades. The angle of the knife blade could be a few degrees larger for a better grip but it’s good enough for small jobs and a good price.

So it works, but I would not use again. Removed grout, but roughed the edges of the tiles. So now I'm hoping the new grout will hide the roughed up edges of the tiles. Glad I didn't do too much, just a little. Don't have oscillating tool, and doing by hand, use the grout removing tool looks like screw driver, but has the sharp pointed ends. They have various widths. Doesn't damage tiles, but be still need to be careful, but cleaner to remove grout.

This takes some work but it does the trick when it comes to removing old grout. You are less likely to damage the tile than if you use a power tool. thankfully I didn't have to remove much old grout. It's an inexpensive tool for removing damaged or crumbling grout so you can replace it.

My husband was removing grout in our shower to re-grout it. He used a Dremel tool, but this item helped so much in areas where the Dremel tool could not be used. My husband said he loved that it came with extra blades and it was very strong and took the very hard grout out quickly. Great product and great price.

I needed to remove old, moldy grout so I could re-grout my shower and this little tool made easy work of removing the old grout. I have 1/8" grout lines so I was a little worried that the blade wouldn't fit or that the tool might chip the tile but it worked just fine. Completed the whole bathroom with one spare blade left.
