Awesome fit for my lens!

So won't slip off, or rotate. Keeps light off lens. It does need ot be removed to remove filters on lens. But, other than that, No issues.

Make sure you choose the larger one if you've got the nikon d7500 18 -300 with the 6.3 max focal length. It does not rotate and I'm not sure if it's a problem.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do and fits my Nikon 8-300mm f/3.5-6.3G ED VR lens perfectly. The hood has really helped me take better pictures on sunny days outside! Price is nice too, some of the other hoods can get pretty pricey.

Just received the "Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3G ED VR Pro Digital Lens Hood (Snap-on)" I ordered for my Nikon 18-300mm. I learned the hard way that Nikon makes two versions of their 18-300mm lens; an f/3.5-6.3G, and an f/3.5-5.6G. The product seems of good quality, and is less expensive than an OEM replacement, but will definitely not fit the f3.5-5.6 version.
