Great little kit for sewers! Nice and compact!

So, my feelings about this item are very down the middle. Plusses include how many items (such as how many needles and pins and rolls of thread) are included in the kit, the durability and convenience of the kit case itself (though the extra pack of thread and wheel of pins won't fit inside), and the heartfelt business card included in the kit (it really gives a sincere, small business feeling that appeals to me). Negatives include the end of the tape measure breaking off simply from the act of unwrapping it for the first time, the little magnifying glass being made of plastic and completely useless (it will just blur whatever you look at, not get you a closer or better look), and the little white tube on the far right (see picture) having already popped open and spilled pins inside before I even got the kit. If I had to sum up what is wrong with this kit, I would say it's trying to do too much for an affordable price. For a basic, starter sewing kit, I don't need the crochet needle or magnifying glass or the little snaps on the blue strip of paper. I would much rather not have those things, and in return, have more room for pins, a better container for the pins, and a tape measure that is durable and useable. To end on a positive, I LOVE the little purple and red clips (they are good quality) and it comes with a LOT of needles.

Bloody rip off. The threads are not XL. $45 dollars when I could've bought it for 28 bucks instead. Threads are low quality. Very disappointed. If only I can give you 0 star
