Q Power QBOMB12TB Single 12-Inch Triangle Ported Subwoofer Box Enclosure

This box is great, but you MUST seal it yourself. I paired it up with a Tarantula T5-122 sub. This sub recommends tuning at 30ish hz but it QUAKES in my single cab Chevy. I’m pushing it with a Taramps HD2000-1ohm amp. I adjusted to amp to respond between the recommended Hz for the sub and the 54Hz that the box is tuned at. I have my gain and boost at 1/3 max and it’s hard to breathe when I hit max volume on my stereo. Perfect setup for less than $500. I haven’t broken in the sub yet so I’ll update this review later. They say 3/4 mdf but it seems more like 5/8ths, if you don’t seal the box it will rattle and crack the Berliner coating. Overall this thing has impressed me. Worth the $$ and with the right sub it POUNDS. Do the research, the T5-122 was the best sub I found in my price range to fit the tune of this box.

recieved said unit with a big ding in the side. GUYS double box your items.. anyways not going to send it back, while fixing this POS it is just a stable piece of sawdust. the only thing that holds this thing together is a spray lining. how this became #1 is a joke. get yourself something that will rock your space .... get a SKAR AR1X12V... solid and double boxed. this unit at #1..... right must be a joke

First the like...tube styles boxes..innovative design..imagine one two three ect in the back of a vehicle...pretty sure satisfy any bass head fanatics...rhino spray on a plus..little strong smell at first but over time it fades ..the incravement on the box is a nice touch. Dislikes none really besides me having to sand the diameter for three hours ..was well worth. Also I tested my speaker box with speaker install polyfill and no polyfill..no polyfill sound better...little Frankenstein project I but together with some scrap from the house fire couple years back..the JBL sub was new stash in the closet and the sub amp is from a powered subwoofer the front of the speaker destroyed..salvage the amp..the lowest hitting 2.1 system hands down..not sure if box can handle things in the 1.000 watt mark box may flex on top..am running 250watts now at the house..sounds clean.

Absolutely a needed component for our boat install the bedliner is water resistant and even with a shallow woofer this box was amazing. It fit our poke audio marine sub perfectly. And the best value for the dollar. It looks rugged and has a nice sheen to it. It's pretty heavy I recommend screwing it down with brackets for sure!. Functions better than expected and cheaper than the star box I was lookong at previously

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Have a CT 12" strato..... Didn't fit box . Had to sand the mounting diameter to get my sub in . But once installed it sounded pretty good
