SEIKO Prospex PADI Special Edition Solar Diver SS Watch

I was hesitant to buy this watch because I worried it might feel cheap given the price point. However, I can confidently say this is a fantastic value. The watch feels solid, well-built, and high-quality — I’m genuinely amazed by how good it looks and feels. I actually find myself wearing it more often than my Omega Speedmaster. The bracelet was incredibly easy to adjust without needing to remove any links, and it fits perfectly on my wrist. I had planned to buy an aftermarket band based on some reviews, but there’s absolutely no need. Highly recommended! P

I recently purchased the Seiko SNE549 Prospex Men's Watch, and I couldn't be more impressed. Right out of the box, I could tell this was a solid, well-crafted timepiece. Beautiful watch. Accurate and sturdy. Simple - gives you time, date, a sweep second hand and nothing more. Night ilium could be better. I wear it in the water with no problems

The quality for a sub $300 watch is excellent. The size is a bit big for my wrist but it wears very nicely and it is very comfortable. The movement is acurate and I love how long it lasts after about 30 minutes in the sun. The glow dials are very bright and they only need a few seconds oglf UV light and they look crisp. I thought the blue would be a bit much but it compliments my business/causal attire. I get comments from people thinking it's a Rolex. The clasp is very secure and almost buttery to use. No sharp edges and smooth. The weight can be a tad bit heavy but after a while you barely notice. Overall a great entry level watch that looks expensive.

Bought this to replace a 20 year old Seiko that was my daily watch. It stood the test of time and did not look like I had been wearing it even a year. One tough, reliable and accurate watch. I got this one just because looking at the same old face was getting old. This watch does not disappoint. It has the same high quality fit and finish as my last. I have been wearing it a month now. Accurate and still shines like it just came out of the box. This is a true keeper, well built and a genuine value for the asking price.

A very nice watch for the price. Quartz action for accuracy, and solar power eliminating the need for battery replacements. Nice design and color, in my opinion.

Pretty good price on Amazon, received as a Valentine’s Day gift. Seiko Quality, solar function, convenience of not having to wind it every other day, looks oversized in pictures but fits well on wrist. Swapped out the bracelet for a leather strap, much more comfortable. Save the bracelet, paperwork and box.

Sharp looking watch which is solar powered. Take it to the Jeweler and have the wrist band sized for your wrist. Keep the spare links, note: there are small plastic tubes inside the links, in case you wanted to give it to another loved one later.

Ah. Been buying Seiko all my life. Happy with this one. Trouble free so far about a year. Recommend

I'm one happy dude to own this watch. It has all the virtues of high quality, smart design, advanced tech & accurate time-keeping. Solar power is a hoot - no need to plug it into a powerpoint to charge it & no winding or shaking needed to get it started. Regular exposure to sunlight or flourescent light is enough to keep it going. Cumulative exposure to 10,000 lux sunlight on a cloudy day for 35 hours is said to be enough to fully charge the watch. When fully charged, the watch has enough power reserve for 10 months. There is no risk of over-charging as its circuitry is designed to prevent that. The secondary battery used is not the regular silver oxide type & needs less frequent replacement. It fits well & feels comfortable on my wrist, & it looks fabulous too. At the back of my mind, I know I'm wearing something special.
