Made my first CO2 dispensing experience a good one
I didnโt know what I needed for sure, and when I first got this I was afraid Iโd gotten the wrong thing because the quick-connect end is not black like what Iโd seen on some setups. Well, the white end is exactly what one needs when running a gas line from the regulator of a CO2 tank to a carbonation cap affixed to a PET bottle, which is what Iโm starting with as a beginner to serious home soda-making. If what you need is the line OUT of a ball lock keg to dispense liquid, this is not what you need. This is what feeds the CO2 into the keg. It also feeds the CO2 into those PET bottles via a carbonation cap (I got Ferrodayโs four-pack of red plastic ones for starters.) I kind of feel like a dummy saying what is probably completely obvious to others, but I know there must be other newbies who might be confused about this, too. So Iโve got what I needed: CO2 tank, regulator, this gas line with white quick connect ball lock fitting, and the carbonation cap that screws onto a PET bottle to which you connect the white fitting. And the way you do that is by lifting up on the end of the white quick connect and pressing the whole thing down onto the carbonation cap โpost.โ

Wouldnโt buy this, spend a little more money and get a better one.
It leaked right out of the box. The seal leaked on the first try. You can work around it by purging the valve before connecting to the bottle, but you use a lot of gas if you have to purge the valve every time you use it. The hose clamps were not strong enough to hold the pressure. The red hose worked great.
