Door stops or jams, whatever one calls them ... are such a simple concept, except that many don't work very well. This one is very cleverly designed and really does the job well. The stopper is made of a hard rubber like material, won't scuff or damage floors or snag carpets and has a thin front edge to easily slip under any door even when there's carpet and little space. I use it under a door that has a tile floor on one side and thick carpet on the other side. This slips under easily and holds the door open or closed with a good grip. Adding to it's convenience is its holder which sticks on the bottom of the door or near it, wherever one wants, no tools needed to install. The stopper just slips into it, out of the way, yet handy to remove and use.

Bought this stopper and it was exactly what I needed. The door from my garage into our home is HEAVY and on a spring to close automatically (so the little ones don't go running out.) The gap at the bottom of our door is wide (vertically) and regular stoppers wouldn't work. Needed something sturdy and graded so I can keep the door open while bringing in groceries, etc. High quality and worth the price. I was a little disappointed when the holder had a production issue (using it posted on the wall next to the door for quick access, which is suuuuper handy.) I wrote to the seller for a replacement holder and I was sent TWO COMPLETE, new stopper sets! Very surprised and very pleased with costumer service. Highly recommend this product if you are looking for a quality and good looking door stopper. Who knew one could care so much about a stopper!? :)

I've tried other cheaper door stoppers that were hollow that didn't stay put but this one works and keeps the door shut. We haven't tried it with the windows open yet once the weather gets nicer because it gets windy around here so we will see if it holds up but it definitely sticks to the floor well and my kids have even used it to lock the door on us by propping it on the other side of the door. Love that it has a holder so it keeps things tidy and has a nice place to stay when we want the door open. The holder sticks to the door well and was easy to apply.

We needed a door stop to fit in a very small gap between the door and the tile floor. This one works very well and looks good on the gray and white tile. So far it’s holding the door even with a moderate wind. The door stop was securely packed and I received it quickly. I would buy it again.

This door stopper works well for my application which is a door into the garage with a 1.25 inch clearance over a porcelain tile floor. The rubber is smooth but has a grippy texture that keeps it from sliding. I haven't had the problems that some have mentioned about it sliding on a tile floor. You really can just drop it on the floor and scoot it into place with your foot. The gizmo for storing it on the door or a nearby wall makes it handy to find the door stopper when you need it, and so far after several days it has stayed stuck in place.

When I first got these door jams, they worked well. I have been using them for several weeks now, and I cannot keep the door from moving. They don't work well anymore. I will read the instructions once more and hope I will solve the problem. I did purchase it because most of the reviews were good. If I can get it to work again, I will edit my review.

This is the best door stopper I've found and I've wasted money trying to find one that will fit under our doors. Unlike others I've spent money on, this one is tall enough to do a great job of holding open all doors AND it looks great. I like how it has a holder that sticks on the wall for storing the stopper when I'm keeping the door closed instead of open. So far I've bought 3 stoppers, and one was for a friend who was so impressed with ones I have. This really is 'quality' and 'clever'.

purchased this door stop as a replacement for a big old brown door stop we had for years that was pretty beaten up. This new one looks great in our master bath, works so much better and the ability to pick up and store the door stop on the backside of the door with the same color holder for when the house keepers clean the bathroom is a plus. Great product and I would say of all the ones on Amazon this is the best by far.

We have a bigger gap under our doors as we have thin Vinyl Plank all downstairs. Other rubber stoppers were too thin but this one works a treat.
