They're made of cast metal (not stamped steel) Installation Options These rods can be installed on virtually any surface. If you have your own wood cleating already in place, use the provided 1" screws. If you wish to go directly over sheet rock, you can do that as well, because hollow wall anchors are included for your convenience!
