Doesn’t taste great but adds a flare to tea! Super good for you too
I never expected these to taste good as Indian gooseberry doesn’t taste very good to begin with, but I love the benefits of it! Great to add a few to your tea!

Dusty & smells unpleasant. Not good amla.
Asked for refund before I even opened the package. Amla was dusty, harder than it should be. When I opened the package it smelled musty and like they had allowed dust to settle on it before packaging. Worst Amla I’ve seen.

Good quality!
We keep these Alma berries soaking in apple cider vinegar in the fridge and eat several a day. Juicy and tasty and an excellent way of getting antioxidants.

Real dried amla fruit was crunchy and hard, but great value for price
While I found the price to be great, what I was expecting from Spicy World's Dried Amla Fruit was very different than what I actually experienced with regard to eating the amla fruit. So, when I took the amla fruit out of its ziplock bag, I noticed it had little to no malleability like with other dried fruit like raisins, which was okay once I learned how to get around this. However, the amla fruit was mostly very crunchy and mildly hard. Also I found pieces of the seed still inside the fruit, but the seed pieces were easy to take out of the amla fruit -- still, not what I expected. More importantly, I knew this was amla fruit because as expected there was a very sour taste, very similar to eating a chewable vitamin c tablet, and as is well-known, amla fruit is high in vitamin c. Despite lacking sweetness, which I expected because it is fruit, I mostly enjoyed eating Spicy World's Dried Amla Fruit, and it had a pleasant aroma. What I did to soften the amla fruit was soak it in water for about an hour, and what this did was create sort of an amla fruit tea, which tasted great, but caused the amla fruit itself to lose its flavor. With that said, and in my opinion, this amla fruit is reasonably priced, but is better for making teas than for eating it right out of the bag.

Nice amla pods
Got this to make shampoo for myself and it turned out very good. The amla pods were good quality and the shampoo made my hair feel amazing. This is high quality product.

Dusty , needs lot of rinsing
I wanted to buy unsalted or sweetened amlas so I can make pickle with desired amount of salt. So got this one. The amlas are extremely dry and needs to be soaked for use. While rinsing I found lots of dust and fine particles like sand, I really hope it's just the residual dust from amlas.
