Great for everyone who loves outdoors fun
I got this kite for my niece and nephew, and it was an absolute hit! They loved the bright rainbow design and had so much fun flying it. It’s easy to set up and flies effortlessly, making it perfect for kids (and adults) to enjoy without any frustration. We took it to the beach on a windy day, and it was the perfect activity—so simple yet so much fun. The quality is great, and it held up well against the wind, which was impressive. It’s lightweight yet sturdy enough to handle plenty of enthusiastic flying. If you’re looking for a fun, engaging activity for kids or a family outing, this kite is a fantastic choice. It’s easy to use, vibrant, and brings so much joy to a windy day outdoors!

Beautiful, easy to fly, BIG kite!
Not a garbage bag like the kites of my youth, really nice (nylon?) sail fabric in vivid colors, with a long streaming tail. I've never flew a diamond kite before but had heard they were harder than a delta kite - nope. Thing jumped into the air and splayed out all 300 feet of line with very little wind. I need more string! Great kite, easy to assemble - just remember the sticks DON'T Face you when you're flying it and tie the string to the string loop - not the plastic loop that holds the sticks. That was a 3 minute delay when we got to the park. Whoopsie! My three year old and six year old were both able to get it into the air. Talk about wholesome family entertainment.

Extremely well designed and built.
This kite has exceeded my every expectation. I was a little hesitant because of the low price, but this kite seems extremely durable, and I expect it will last for years to come. Assembles in seconds. This kite wants to fly. I held it up and let it go. The wind was 4-7 knots and I had no issue launching, no running involved. I wish I could post a review with video because not only did I enjoy flying it, my 4 year old and a couple other young kids at the park today did too. One child crashed it into some trees, and the kite did not tear or break. Thank you to aGreatLife for a superior product, and an afternoon of family fun for the same price as a movie ticket. Full disclosure, I did not use the handle and string that comes with the kite, I used a cheap fishing pole/reel combo from my local Wally World. I'm lazy, and a fishing reel is easier and more fun!

Seems decent, needed to modify to assemble
Per the assembly instructions the center support rod was to go inside the center of the kite, however there wasn't an opening at the back for it to come out and go into the reinforced pocket. I had to cut a small opening to allow the rod through. Otherwise it went together well. I've only had it out once and it seemed easy to get to fly. We weren't able to fly it for long, so I have no long term play time with it yet. It took a couple hard hits and was drug on the ground by a preschooler, held up fine. Overall it's a decent kite.

This kite is SO EASY TO FLY!!!
I've never been able to get a kite to stay up for more than a minute or 2. But I still wanted my daughter to have a good experience with one. So after reading a few good reviews on this rainbow kite I decided to give it a try. I think it was about $14 so if it didn't work out... well, I'd be annoyed about it, but it wouldn't be the worst thing... ive had my kiting dreams crushed many a time before. Normally our kiting experience is a little something like this: we go in with "HIGH hopes", we wait for the "right wind" (which definitely tests our patience) and I run around like an idiot that is continuously throwing and catching some crap-tastic piece of plastic, with intermissions of me untangling a messy spool of knotted string. If it goes in the air it only lasts for a few moments and then it's gone... with all of my energy. It ends with me feeling incompetent and frustrated. Why can't I fly a darn kite? It's for children! Surely I should be capable. My daughter is bummed that it doesnt fly and thats a wrap....as I say to myself, "please, please don't ask to play with this thing for another year!" That was soooo NOT the experience with this kite!!! This kite arrived neatly packaged and a few days early. I was planning to add this to her christmas gifts, but when it arrived I thought, "we live in ny. Why wait until freezing cold almost January to fly this thing?" It's autumn and wind is in season! That very day I took her to the park, along with my mom. She hasn't been the same since my Dad passed and doesnt go out, or smile much anymore. This kite gave me a memory that I will cherish forever! This kite is so darn simple to fly! And not just fly, but soar! It went up on our very first try and it didn't come down until I brought it down. It was awesome!! Not just for my daughter, but it filled some missing childhood memory for myself as well lol. I finally got to fly a kite! And better still.. both my daughter and her grandma got to fly it! And grandma's hands are not what they used to be... just before I got her to try it she said "I'm no good at that.. no, no, no... my hands. I cant...blah blah"... "yes, you can mom!" And she did! She did it with ease! My 4 year old did it with ease! I did with ease! Three generations together, ranging from 4 to 64.. all so capable of flying this kite. It was incredible to see them running together, smiling and laughing. It really touched my heart. The kite is bigger than I expected and it doesn't seem to be cheaply made. The rods are strong and stable, the material arrived and still is inntact... not made of plastic. The string is strong too, so it doesn't knot as easily as others do. But its long enough to get it soaring high.... higher than in the pics taken. Once i had it in the air for a few minutes I was even able to maneuver it around a bit. And of course the little one was pumped about it being rainbow :) I want to take a second just to say thank you to this company, to the seller, and to anyone else who went into making/creating this oh-so-simple-to-fly kite. I never in a million years expected that spontaneous trip to the park to become such a meaningful day... who knew it could start with a good, sturdy kite! I can't recommend this kite enough! Seriously...there's no need to go on looking. This one is a winner! Ps.. I am in no way paid to write reviews, nor do I receive any kind of discounts... this is just the perfect kite :)

Great kite for beginners and their kiddos!
I bought my 8 year old daughter a kite at Walmart for $10 and she loved running around the yard with the kite at about 15 feet high but when we took it to open field it never really managed to get any higher without quickly crashing back down to earth (and tearing slightly in the process). I decided to see if I could find something better on amazon for a similar price and stumbled upon this. It came in a few days and I immediately noticed that the material the kite is made out of seemed a lot more high quality. It was slightly confusing to assemble as the directions weren’t extremely clear but simple enough that I had it it together within a several minutes. Upon taking it outside it immediately seemed to come alive at the lightest breeze. It seemed as if it was hungry for flight. Needless to say we headed right for the park and had it flying at 150 feet or so in no time flat. The moral of the story...I was looking for an easy kite to handle for dad and kid with no previous experience and this fit the bill perfectly. No issues as of two flights.

My history with kites have been the basic plastic kinds and for the most part they have stunk. The reviews on this kite indicated that it was well made and easy enough for kids around my daughter's age (4) to use. I have to say, despite being a bit pricier than other basic kites, this product is pretty well made with decent materials. A good sign. We took it to the park on the weekend and even before we tried to launch it, the wind was already trying to grab it from my hands. Another good sign. I gave the line a little slack and gave it a slight pull and it blasted into the sky. It was an absolute joy to use. I figured there would be a learning curve for my Daughter, but she grabbed the line and was off. She loved it. For a child, I am sure you could find a cheaper kite. I see them everywhere. I also see parents and grandparents struggling with their children to get these inexpensive plastic kites up in the air. For the little bit extra I paid, the material build of the kite and the ease of use made it an absolute blast to use. This is a great product.
