It does take a conscious effort. The foot bed is higher than normal because the memory foam is thick. I’m very tall and have peripheral neuropathy so I don’t use them. The only way to make them work would be to order a size smaller so your foot won’t slide. I wear socks all the time so the slippers are dangerous for me. Off to Goodwill they go.

I wear a men's size 8, 3e (eee) width. what size should i get? can i wear these with socks?

Yes with the socks but I'm not sure about the size. I wear size 10 and they fit fine. They do stretch out somewhat after you wear them for awhile. As far as I know, they are very easy to return so start with a size up and see what happens. That should give you an idea of how the sizes run so you can send them back and get the right size. They are very soft and flexible.

Are any animal products used in the making of these slippers, like animal-based glue?

The spoiled hubby loved them but like everything else I pampered him with, were covered in paint or something. SMH 🤣

SUPER Comfy. Feels GREAT.
