Love this misting fan!! This thing throws out a really cooling mist at least 25 feet. Well built, hooks right up to garden hose. It's been in high 90's for a month and this fan works great!! Wish I'd bought it sooner..

Great oscillation- 3 speeds. A few things though: the power cord with the built-in GFI is only 10’ long and they provide warnings NOT to use an extension cord- so that does limit your range if you’re short on outside outlets. Same with the water line that connects to your garden hose- probably 12’ long at best. Finally, the 3 misting nozzles that are mounted on the front fan grill, the mfg suggests removing them each time after use and soak them in water and dish soap to help avoid calcium buildup. I’ve used my fan 5 times now and won’t remove them each time as that would be a pain (you have to remove the front fan grill- 3 screws to get access to the nozzles) that I wasn’t expecting. I will do it on occasion but not every use. Giving 4 stars due to cord and water line range- otherwise as of now (had this for just a week) the item works as I hoped it would.

Aug 7th update: after over 2 months of use in the AZ monsoon heat... it's working well and is a good buy. Does the job, but only after replacing one of the dead mister heads (extras included with the fan), and then having the fan off/power switch button came off. First day trial... we'll see...

Bought just over a year ago. Fan works awesome, most definitely cools everything down! This was my thinking for the first 9 months… Now have streams of water coming out before misters(rubber mister head screws into). Fan still does the job but sure does waste a lot of water with those streams

When temps are regularly above 110 in Phoenix summers, it's too hot to enjoy the outdoors without a few things: the pool, ceiling fan under patio, and this fan! I had a misting system along the perimeter of the covered patio but it accumulated so much moisture along the wood frame I was concerned it would cause wood damage. So I purchased this fan instead. It's a powerful fan! And the misting feature feels like a gust of air conditioning. I would suggest removing the nozzles after each use and soak in CLR so water doesn't sit in nozzles after turning off as when it dried calcium deposits build up. By doing this I haven't had issues with clogged nozzles which is common with all misting systems. They are simple to remove, soak, and put back on.

Works well, animals like it outside, but remember to add water and do not run for very long on empty water.

This fan allows me to sit outside on the hottest days. I can also just use the fan only on not as hot days. The misters work well. You don’t want to be too close but works great at about 8-10 foot away. You will get damp but who cares when it’s really hot.

Purchased two of these, hooked everything up and a plastic piece was broken that holds the nozzle. Weird thing is, both of them had the same problem, I tried tightening them and the threads are stripped. Getting my money back
