Cento tomatoes are a family favorite. They are not always readily available in the local supermarket so I am now purchasing them by the case. The flavor is top notch and consistent in quality, and I save money by purchasing a case or two at a time. The quality is also consistent. Excellent product! With Barilla pasta and and Cento tomatoes in the pantry, I can put together a meal very quickly.

My husband always uses San Marzano tomatoes for his "gravy"… Which is pretty much ruined our family for any other sauce! Sometimes it's hard to find these in the grocery store, and the price is very, so having these heavy cans delivered right to your door makes life a lot easier.

If this review were based on the product alone, it'd be 5 stars - these are great tomatoes, and will make excellent pasta sauces, pizza sauce, tomato soup, etc. San Marzano tomatoes are arguably the gold standard for making such things, and well worth investing in if you want to take homemade versions of said dishes to the next level. The 4 stars is because the first time I ordered these, most of the cans arrived with heavy damage (FWIW, badly damaged cans with deep dents and/or bent lids should be tossed - it's a potential food safety issue as the integrity of the can's seal may be compromised). Thankfully, Amazon made things right and I decided to order a replacement set - which arrived safe and sound. Maybe the first one took a hard fall or two while in transit? In any case, these are some of the best canned tomatoes you can buy, and at the time of this review, are available for a great price - especially for being the organic version, which I can't find in any of my local stores anyway. Will have to order more when I run out!
