Used this to make fudge , best thing ever invented so easy better than my jam thermometer One year on came to use it for sweet making and the battery inside had corroded; Purchased new batteries and it still doesn’t work ,soo dissapointed

It seems to measure across accurately. Really handy when you're trying to warm a mixture to a certain temp. I haven't tried to calibrate it.
