Originally believing these would be a good contender to replace the shoes for everyday use that were no longer available, I found the comments helpful and bought a 1/2 size up from my usual size 12. I told advise by one of the Feet stores that the wide was not a great choice and I was surprised to find they had a point. My feet did feel a bit better with standard width and using Wide or Xtra wide (EEE) for years. After the initial pair (that I still wear) I went up to a 13 and so far I like them at least as well as the 12-1/2. Good construction, nice looking and a great price!
