Doorbell power transformer 24V 500MA, AC230-240V to AC24V ring doorbell adapter, compatible with visual doorbell and thermostat (with 8M extension cable)

I took a gamble and bought this to try with my new Google nest doorbell(battery) and it seems to be working so far. Let's hope it doesn't disappoints. Will update in few months. In the photo I have posted, you can see battery percentage shown when on battery powered and when powered with the adapter, it doesn't show the battery status which means the adapter works with this doorbell. HURRAY!! 21/12/2022 ( Update ) Still working as expected. One thing I have discovered is that the power adapter doesn't charge the battery. it only provides the power to the doorbell. I believe it is like that by design. Anyway Before I had to charge atleast once a month. Now, I haven't charged it since using the power adapter as battery isn't used. Hope this helps. Will update in few months.

So far so good ! After trying 2 other makes which were hopeless we are delighted that this one appears to do the job ! Hopefully it will continue !

I purchased this as a stop gap until I get a hard wired doorbell transformer for a new Eufy E340 doorbell camera. I read in other reviews that the transformer is noisy but I haven't found it to be. What I do find is that it charges the Eufy E340 very slowly because the transformer output is only 500ma at 24V and the output needs to be at least 1.25 amps at 24V (or 30VA) fr the Eufy E340. That said, it does indeed charge but by around 1% every 2-3 hours which almost gives the impression it's not charging. What I have also found is that the battery stops charging (even when not at 100%) but when the battery drains a little it resumes charging again. I'm not sure what the problem is, maybe it's a Eufy design feature? As a stop gap, it's great value for money, the quality is reasonable for the price and it's very simple to install. The size is what you'd expect for a standard brick wall plug. It's not 100% compatible with the Eufy E340 but it does a decent job at keeping it charged, albeit slowly.

Very good product easy to install and setup, downside, gotto recharge battery every 6/8 weeks for 8 hours.

Stopped working after a month day past the return window.

This does NOT work for blink doorbells since the power output is intermittent so you need to have an internal battery that can be charged with the doorbell connectors. Using it with a eufy doorbell however is fine since the internal battery can be charged by it, mine stays around 93-94% usually. If it didn't advertise itself for blink (unsure if they've changed this or not) and the power adapter wasn't so big that it feels unsafe to have on some sockets, it's good enough.
