Not sure but it is really nice and cute

Is this made in the usa?

Nope...It's made in China...But it's comfy!

Would this be good for kids who sit on the floor to read? ages 7 and 8?

It is very soft so it probably would not make a good floor cushion, but would be great for snuggling with while reading.

are pillow pets a good option for a 4 and 2 year old to use as a pillow in their bed? are they large enough?

The manufacturer recommends children 3 years and older for use of the pillow pets. The pillow opens large enough for a child to sleep on but it is the decision of the parent to allow their children to sleep on the pillow.
