She Thinks Like a Boss: Leadership : Roedel, Jemma: desertcart.ae: Books Review: I’m new to management I recently became a Unit Manager and this book has helped me become more confident in myself while leading a team. The author references studies which I do like, provides statistics and an interesting perspective for new female leaders. I think it’s a great read I highlighted through the whole thing. I do recommend this read whether new Or old to management! Review: I absolutely loved reading this book, it has been such a fantastic tool to me in my career since the first page. As women, I believe we all encounter imposter syndrome at one time or another and this book stops you from feeling alone and this in itself instils confidence. Alongside this, the content and advice within this book is super useful, I found it particularly handy to be able to read about and identify the different leadership types, as at the time I was in a team of managers and I worked completely differently and it felt like I was doing it wrong until I read this book and I just realised what my style was and how to own this. I would recommend this to any woman in a managerial/corporate position looking for a bit of guidance, it will completely transform your thinking and build confidence in yourself. You got this girllll!
