Anker 737 Power Bank, 140W 24,000mAh 3-Port Laptop Charger, Smart Display

Great for traveling but it’s heavy. Works well, charges laptops, and has multiple ports to charge a few devices at one time. Keeps a charge for a long time as well. I’ve brought it on trips and keep it on my desk

This is an awesome device. After some quick tests I can say it fully meets my needs and expectations. Yes, it is expensive, and at $150 I didn't think I could justify it. I got it on sale for $100 and I believe it was definitely worth it. The display is fantastic and really provides all the information you need in order to know what is going on with the inputs and outputs. My main use will be for charging the 50wh battery in my Surface Pro 8. The Anker 737 will charge it at a 55w rate via either of the two Thunderbolt ports (the supplied Microsoft charger is rated at 60w through the Surface connector), and it appears that the conversion efficiency is about 80%, meaning that it can fully charge the Surface and have capacity left over to charge a phone or two. (An interesting note about conversion efficiency based on some quick tests and calculations: If I charge my Surface Pro 8 from my Jackery 300’s PD port, it takes about 60wh to fully charge the 50wh battery. It appears that the Anker 737 will need to supply almost 70wh to fully charge the 50wh battery. If I connect the Microsoft AC adapter to the Jackery 300’s AC port and charge the Surface that way, it requires about 90wh to fully charge the 50wh battery. The more up and down conversions you do, the more you lose.) The supplied cord is rated for 140w and is 60cm long (NOT 6 cm as some have said), or about two feet. I had limited success with pass-through charging, YMMV. I connected a 45w charger and the Anker started charging at 42w. Then I connected a phone, which started charging at 10w, but the input to the Anker then dropped to an identical 10w. A different charger and a different load might give different results, I don't know. Others have complained about having difficulty charging DJI batteries. Here's what I think is going on (my best guess, anyway): I have the Mini 2 battery charging hub and three batteries. The hub appears to be happiest with an input of 12v, 1.5a. (The supplied DJI charger is rated at 9v, 2a and 12v, 1.5a.) USB-C PD 3.1 does not appear to support 12v, and when connected to the hub, the hub and the Anker can't seem to negotiate an 18w charging rate at 9v. HOWEVER, when I connect the hub to the Anker's USB-A port using the supplied DJI cable all is well and the hub charges at 18w. Some users have panicked over the USB-A port showing 0.1a with no load connected. Anker explains this on their support page (which takes some digging to find). 1. Make sure Trickle Charge mode is off (tap the button twice). 2. Wait two minutes after disconnecting a load from the USB-A port. 3. Relax. Some users have experienced less than expected charging rates. Not all USB cables are created equal. (In fact, back in the early days of USB-C there were some cables that didn’t meet the standard and were risky to use.) Make sure your cable supports the rate your device requires. I bought a six foot, 140w Anker cable to go along with the 737. That, plus the cable supplied with the 737, should meet all my needs.

Outstanding power bank. Sends the right amount of power to devices on demand. Huge capacity. Love the screen showing charging/discharging status. With a decent wall plug it charges fully within an hour. Completely charges my macbook at least twice; my iphone 17 pro max at least 4 times. Only complaint is the Italian TSA thought it was a weapon but they let me through after showing them how it worked, not the manufacturer's fuslt. 10/10

I use these USB batteries for quite a few things. I carry one in my EDC bag in case I need to charge my phone, tablet, kindle, or whatever else may need charging. I also carry a couple different cables in that bag so I have the right one for whatever I need. This larger one is gonna be used around the house for powering things I use, mostly outside on the grilling deck. I can easily power my fan controllers or wireless thermometers for my grilling and smoking applications. This charger is a bit bulkier than my other versions. It measures at 6 x 2 x 2.25 inches. It has 3 USB ports on the end so you can be connected to 3 devices at once. There are two USB-C and one USB-A ports. One of the USB-C ports is also the port used for charging the battery. The battery comes packaged with a carrying bag and a USB-C to USB-C cable. The piece MISSING from this package is the adapter to plug that USB cable into a wall outlet to charge the battery. I know most folks have a bundle of those laying around, but most of mine are USB-A and not USB-C. I have one that came with one of my Android phones that I could re-purpose for charging this battery though. I still think it probably should have come with one. The geek factor on this battery that I love, besides its 24k mAh capacity, is the informational LCD screen. One screen shows you how much charge the battery has from zero to 100%. Another screen shows you the status of the battery. When the battery is being recharged, it shows you the percentage, the input power to the battery, and an estimate of how long it it will take to finish charging. When you are using the battery to charge another (or multiple) devices, it shows you The battery's remaining capacity and how much power is being pulled from each of the charging ports as well as an estimate of how long the battery can continue to supply power at that rate. It also shows you how many times the battery has been cycled. This is also an excellent battery to have on hand during a power failure for keeping your phones charged.

The Anker 737 Power Bank definitely lives up to its reputation when it comes to performance. It charges fast, feels solid in the hand, and the display showing watts in and out is a neat bonus that makes it feel more high-tech. It handled my phone and laptop without breaking a sweat, and the build quality is exactly what you’d expect from Anker—premium and reliable. The only catch is the price. It’s great, but not that great. After a bit of digging, I found other brands offering similar performance for noticeably less, which takes a little shine off the experience. It’s kind of like paying for front-row seats when the view from row three is just as good. Don’t get me wrong, this is an excellent power bank if money isn’t a concern. But for what it costs, you can find comparable options that charge just as well and leave a little more left in your wallet. Four stars for speed, design, and reliability, and pretty dang heavy

I got this in the end of May 2024 and it just stopped working, even after dropping it multiple times, it just randomly stopped working one night. I wouldn't just use this for travel, id use it everytime I didn't wanna be tied down to a wall outlet, anytime I needed faster superior charging over anyone's power brick, and to fully charge a 16 inch idea pad 5i in just 30 min. It lasted a pretty good amount of time and I just a new one, its coming today, thanks anker!

First impression is that it feels bulky even knowing the weight and dimensions - but I’m sure there was a reason for it’s shape. I used to put my other power bank and phone in my pocket while I needed immediate power, but not going to happen with this charger. If you travel often and aren’t worried about an extra 1.5 lbs and you plan to use mostly while your device and power bank are on a table or in your bag, think this unit is great. Could also be used while carrying around, but I can’t see myself carrying this plugged into my phone fumbling through the airport - I’m bound to drop it. I like the charging information on the device - actually shows you the speed it’s charging at (Watts), the amount of time remaining to charge to 100%, and the temperature of the power bank. I didn’t buy it for that, but it’s nice to have and I did mess around to see if the numbers they quoted when charging once vs two devices is actually what I saw - they were. Could also test out some cords to see if they are better or worse than others. Chances are, if you’re buying this, you already know the power rating of your cords and have a dedicated PD USB C. I don’t have the PD 3.1 (think that’s what it’s called with 140W output), but had a cal digit thunderbolt 4 which is rated for 100W and I saw close to 100W charging with it on my iPhone 12 Pro Max plugged in by itself. Haven’t tried: 1. Traveling with it on a plane yet (not sure if this one is allowed - if it isn’t, I may have to return it) 2. Pass-through charging (charging power bank and personal device at same time) to see what the experience is CS what they claim 3. Looking up optimal way to recharge power bank. They don’t tell you on the page or the manual that comes with it, so will have to look it up. Like should you charge only when battery gets to certain level instead of topping it off. I know the rules for my iPhone, but somehow, my battery life is still $hit, so who knows. They show some fancy graphics on advanced battery engineering, etc - I wish they would tell you, either “don’t worry about the battery health and when to charge or if you’re screwing it up bc we’ve figured it out” OR “charge when at x% to fill battery most of the time and you’re good”. I’ll feel stupid if they clearly tell you this on their page so happy to revise it if it’s there. Overall, happy with it. - will revise after travel and after a few months. Happy charging.

**UPDATE October 2025** I previously purchased this power bank to run a Resmed AirMini travel CPAP using a USB-C power converter cable. That battery did indeed not power up my CPAP, no matter what I tried. After noticing that several other people WERE able to get their AirMini CPAP's working with this power bank, I decided to give it another try even though Anker Customer Support could not help me get it working with the first unit. I took a chance and purchased this again and this one now DOES power my AirMini. The only thing I can guess is that I received a very early firmware version that could not correctly negotiate the power voltage/wattage/amperage and as a result, would immediately shut down. The unit I just purchased however, does work and it works well. I have now used it and was able to run my CPAP for 2 nights (~6.5 hrs/night) of use out of one charge with about 1-2 hours of CPAP use remaining CPAP before it needs to be charged. I can't convey how excited this makes me. However, it has been almost 2 years since my initial purchase and review, so I suspect this product will soon be put out to pasture. I am just glad I managed to get a reasonable price and finally get an informative display power bank to run my CPAP so I know exactly how much charge is left. Better late than never. Thank you Anker! - - Original Review - - Summary - Will not power a Resmed AirMini, but otherwise is a great power bank. The bad: This power bank is great if you just want to charge electronic devices. However, if like me, you are trying to find the largest possible amount of power at or under the TSA approved limit for batteries that will power a travel CPAP, this is not it. I currently have a Renogy power bank (https://www.amazon.com/Renogy-72000mAh-Portable-Generator-Technology/dp/B0791WDZTW/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?keywords=renogy&qid=1706802910&sr=8-2-spons&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.f5122f16-c3e8-4386-bf32-63e904010ad0&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&psc=1) that has a massive 266wh capacity, but it is large and heavy and disallowed on domestic US airlines. It's also not something you would want to lug around for long, but works great as a backup if power goes out. It powers my Resmed Airsense 10 using a 12v cigarette adapter and my AirMini just fine using a 20v USB-C power supply (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BV1J88GV?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details). I was hoping this power bank would be the small and light unicorn for travel that would run my Resmed AirMini. When plugging the AirMini into the power bank using the 20v USB-C power supply however, the light on the AirMini flashes once and goes dark. I tried both ports, tried plugging the 20v PSU into the power bank first, then the AirMini as well as the other way around. Nothing could get the power bank to supply any power for more than a momentary blip. This is confusing, especially when Anker makes other power banks that DO work with my 20v PSU/AirMini combination. For example, this power bank (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B9XHR6BG?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) works perfectly, but I was hoping to make use of the charge display on this unit as well as the slightly larger capacity, faster charge times and smaller size. Otherwise the power bank is great. The good: It charged stunningly quickly using the Anker 67 watt GaN charger over USB-C. The display that shows how much power is being utilized both on charge and discharge is fantastic. You can see exactly how much power you have at a given moment as well as the draw any device is making on the battery. This will help you manage power between recharges far more effectively than a few blinking lights ever could. It is however more expensive than older versions from Anker that will accomplish the same thing for less money.

Does not come with a lead. Either to power source or to device to be charged. Instruction are too tiny to read. Discriminates against elderly and all visually impaired people.

Overall its a great go to powerbank specially on rough situations in related possible power outages, its great for carry too during long trips, it charges really really fast you can even track how many watts power it releases but in my usage so far it never reaches 140W as advertised, I don't know what kind of device it needs to be able to release a 140W charging. I charged my old macbook M2 Pro 13" 24GB RAM 1TB that has 31% remaining battery and charged it with this powerbank it charged so fast like maybe 40+mins till it gets 100% in laptop and drains the powerbank from 100 till 48%. For mobile devices charging it really can charge fast and lasts longer for multiple devices max of 3 and will still have enough juice in it. Plus factor that I can charge my fpv batteries as well and camera charging hub, as well as drone battery hub. Overall this is a great investment I hope it will last long though.

Leistungsstarke Powerbank in relativ kompakter Größe. Die vom Hersteller benannte Kapazität ist bekanntlich nicht gleichzusetzen mit dem, was am Ende geliefert wird. Diese Powerbank kommt jedoch sehr nah dran. Durch die kompakte Bauweise macht sie einen stabilen Eindruck. Das Display ist ein netter Zusatz und gibt einen groben Überblick über die Ladevorgänge. Über die Langzeitleistung lässt sich aktuell noch wenig sagen, sollte aber Anker-typisch sehr gut ausfallen. Die fehlenden Kabel im Vergleich zu den Konkurrenzprodukten sind zu vernachlässigen. Kauft man sich dazu und alles passt. Preislich in Ordnung, im sale ein Blindkauf. Würde ich wieder kaufen.
