Hi The Gio 16 Piece Set Includes, 4 Dinner Plates, 4 Salad plates, 4 Bowls, and 4 Mugs.

Do the plates and mugs get hot in the microwave? TIA.

The Wedgwood Gio plates should not get too hot with normal microwave use.

Is this durable enough for every day use? Are these easy to Chip and break? Note my husband isn’t particularly gentle with dishes etc…

They are solid as a rock…no chipping…

Ordered Twice But Have Yet to Receive an Unbroken Set

This is the second time that I have ordered these dishes. I have an existing service for 4 and really wanted a service for 8, but it seems that the seller is unable to ship unbroken product. Both times the bowl portion of the dinner service has arrived broken. For the price of the dinnerware Wedgewood needs to pack better in their Wedgewood box. The shipper encasing it in two more boxes does not do anything for product arriving unbroken. Now I have over a $1,000 tied up waiting for a refund and nothing to show for the purchase but broken dinnerware.

Broken piece

I did not unpack all the dishes until kitchen remodel complete. One of the bowls is broken and there is no option to return. Not that I want to pack up an entire box of 4 compete place settings to return. I would like the individual bowl to be replaced.
