This kit is great for these current times when you can’t get to a salon to have your nails done! I got the one without the cuticle pusher and buffers (I already have the cuticle pusher) so I bought some cheap buffer blocks separately. The kit is really easy to use as the instructions are very easy to follow. So far I have tried the darkest of the colours included (love!) and the lightest colour (wasn’t as much as a fan, but that’s because I have pale skin so light colours don’t really look great on me). The one tip I would happily share is to base coat your whole nail, then when it comes to adding the first layer of colour, leave a good gap between the edge of the polish and the skin. It may look weird, but go with it. With the next layer, paint a bit closer to the skin (to seal the first layer of colour), still leaving a small gap between the paint and the skin. Do the same with the top coat (painting over all the edges of the colour so you seal it all in, including ‘capping’ the top edges of the nail) importantly so the top coat doesn’t go onto the skin. If you cure the top coat overlapping onto the skin, you will probably get lifting of the colour when general use of your hands will cause the top coat on your skin to catch, which may cause the whole layer of paint to lift and peel. Learn from my experience! However that was error on my part, nothing to do with the kit itself. Another thing I will mention is that the MyGel base and top coats included in the kit work fine with other brands of gel colours, as I have used both Shellac and Blue Sky colours with no adverse results.

I bought this during the Black Friday sales with the intention of learning to do my own nails at home and saving money during the cost-of-living crisis. I decided to invest in Mylee rather than opting for cheaper alternative brands and, as a beginner, I’m really impressed. The kit comes with everything needed to prepare the nails, apply the gel polish, and remove it afterwards. It also includes a small handbook that clearly explains the correct process for achieving a long-lasting manicure. I’m still learning how to perfect a salon-quality finish at home, but overall I’m very happy with this purchase. I chose a higher-quality brand over cheaper alternatives, and I’m glad I did. As a beginner, I sometimes get a little product on my skin during application, but despite using the kit regularly for around three months, I haven’t experienced any contact dermatitis or irritation. For someone who is completely new to doing their own gel nails, the manicure lasts about a week on average, which I’m really happy with. Overall, it feels like a good-quality kit, and I also love the little dopamine boost of looking at freshly manicured nails and toes each week.

The order arrived on time in a well packaged box. The box is sturdy and well thought out in terms of packing all the items inside. It was a lovely experience to open it all up and find all the items. I did my first set of gel nails using the mylee gel and experience some lifting but feel this was due to my application. I’ve since completed a further set after some research and had no lifting so correct prep of each nail is essential. I used some YouTube videos to help out. The builder get was a little tricky to apply to my non-dominant hand but it’s easy to tidy and file up afterwards. I find that warming the builder gel up a little makes it easier to apply. I’ve given 4 stars as I feel like instructions on how to apply it could be improved, perhaps a QR code that directs you to each stage. But overall I’m very pleased and I’m hopeful that in time, I will get better and better.

My first impression is that the kit is well made and great value for money. I was pleasantly surprised at the 4 best selling colours - I half thought they’d include some of the least popular colours that they can’t shift. Instructions were included on the steps to prepping and applying gel polish which was handy since been 3+ years since I’ve done it. Everything was super easy and the finished result is amazing. I’m so pleased! Longevity of the polish is very dependant on application and I’ve always struggle with polish lifting after a week, so time will tell on how well I did and how well the polish holds up in general. What I will say, is the lamp cures quickly and the polish doesn’t run when applied in thin layers which makes it super easy to get a neat finish . Edit: I bloody love it! No lifting, no chipping, no flaking. Worth every penny! The light pink polish picture is the length of my nails after i started to use this kit (not even 8 weeks ago) and this polish has been on for 3 weeks! The gel has saved my nails from numerous possible breakages. I couldn’t be happier.

Questo set per farsi le unghie con il semipermanente è ottimo in termini di qualità/prezzo. Il fornellino è semplice e funzionale, mentre i 6 smalti (base, 4 colori e top coat) sono davvero di buona qualità. Consiglio.

This is my first kit and I'm very happy with it. All products included were enough to do my first gel, they work well together and my first one stayed for 3 weeks! It chipped only a little bit in 1 place despite the fact that I play hard sports 3 times a week & do all the normal household chores. It would probably last even longer but the nails just grew too long that it was noticeable + I got bored of 1 color & wanted a change. :-) What I wish it had is an instruction about exactly how many seconds you should cure a base coat, a color and a top coat on a thumb and on the rest of the fingers. It has some very high level instructions but no specifics considering this type of lamp, so I did a few of tries and made it work. It is important to indicate it though because you don't want to overdo it either. And finally, once you get this kit (I recommend it!), I suggest that you also order the clips for the gal nail polish removing instead of using foil. I ordered those separately and they are way more convenient than a foil. Enjoy! You'll save so much time on doing it yourself than going to a nail salon, even if you buy many more colors, like I already did. :-)

One bottle of gel was cracked, another was broken and the bottles of prep and remove were both almost empty like they had leaked or evaporated. So disappointing. Went to order a replacement and the price has increased so will have to pay more to replace the set at my own cost

أصابني إحباط ف الواقع من بعض التعليقات، اول ماوصل فتحته خفت مسكوب بس طلع كل شي سليم😍 فورا جربته وعجبني حيل، الألوان مو ذوقي الا واحد، والثاني لاباس اما لونين مو ذوقي ابدا بس اخذت المجموعه عشان كامله احتجت اخليه دقيقة وأكثر لاني كنت احط طبقة ثقيلة لاني مستعجلة اجرب بس نصيحة حطو طبقة خفيفة وكل شوي زيدو بعد م تجففو الي قبل 👍🏻 اتبعو التعليمات سوو تنظيف وبرد الأظافر وبعدين تخشين سطح الأظافر عشان يثبت اللون بعدين الأساس وعالمصباح ثم اللون ثم المصباح ثم التوب كوت واخيرا المصباح وكل طبقة حطو خفيف جدا عشان تنشف بسهولة وامسحو بمسحة طبيه اذا خلصتو الأفضل تشترو قفاز الأظافر تحمون يدكم من الضوء، ماعرفت أضيف صور. وثابت م يتقشر بسهولة بس طبقوه صح وجففوه صح > حاولت اشيله بنفسي عن طريق التقشير ولا فاد. لكن للامانه م جربت اكثر من يومين.
