A great all-rounder, spacious and versatile.
So I decided to buy this backpack before going on a recent 3-month trip to Thailand. I had looked into a number of camera backpacks, and after careful consideration I thought that this one sounded perfect. The first thing I took into consideration was the size - I needed something that I could take as a carry-on when flying, but something that also held as much gear as possible - I didn't want to have any fragile equipment stored in my suitcase being knocked about and potentially broken. And the TUBU backpack really didn't disappoint. I was able to store a large selection of items, including my Canon 6D with a 24-105mm L-Series lens attached, an additional 16-35mm L-Series lens, a couple of chargers and extra batteries, a Yongnuo 600EX-RT II flash and YNE3-RT transmitter, Nisi v5 filters and holder, and more besides. Absolutely no problem and still plenty of space to spare. And no problem getting through security in the airport and fitting this packed-up pack into the overhead storage on the flight. Great!!! Another important aspect for me was the comfort. And again, the TUBU backpack was surprisingly good. With my old LowePro it wouldn't take long before the straps started to dig into my shoulders and my back would begin to ache, and with perhaps only half the amount of gear stored inside. But with this pack there was no discomfort, the design of the straps seemed to spread the weight of the pack nicely instead of focusing the weight just on my shoulders. Once at our destination, I didn't have as many opportunities to use the pack as I'd have liked (it was a holiday to visit family more than anything). But I did get the occasional chance to lug my camera and gear about. Being well water-proofed proved invaluable, as the first trip out saw us caught in torrential tropical rain. No issues with leaking or anything like that, and all my gear stayed safe and dry. The storage compartments in the pack are very easy to adjust and I was able to configure them nicely depending on what gear I needed on any given day, and there are plenty of extra little pockets for storing cards and cables and anything you'd care to shake a stick at. I was also able to strap my Vanguard Alta-Pro 2+ (with Manfrotto ballhead) to the side, and it sat there nice and snug and secure and didn't seem to affect the balance of the pack. The quick access, as you'd expect from this type of pack, is great and helps when you need to get at your gear as fast as humanly possible. Finally, one of the issues I've had using camera backpacks in places like Thailand is with getting a sweaty back. I think that's something that's unavoidable given the high humidity and heat in that part of the world, especially if you're not used to the climate. The TUBU pack didn't seem to fair to badly at all here, however, and the padding on the back offered a good amount of ventilation. Overall, I'm very happy with this backpack. Large, versatile, plenty of storage, and perhaps more importantly I do find it very comfortable to wear for extended periods, even when fully loaded with gear. Since getting home I've yet to test it out here in the rugged Highlands, but I'm very optimistic given how well it handled and extended trip to south-east Asia. Oh, and for the price I paid for it here, I'd say that I definitely got a very high quality product for a very very reasonable price. So if you're on a bit of a budget then I would highly recommend this pack! A+++

Great bag, just one small flaw for me
Large bag with good amount of pockets. Comfortable to lug around my 2 D-SLR's along with a 70-300, 105mm macro, 50mm, 18-140 and 11-20, plus a mini tripod, cleaning gear, spare batteries, leads, filters etc. I wanted a 'one size fits all' and this does it well. My only fault if I had to make one is that the bottom pocket isn't really sturdy enough to hold the shape of the bag with weight in the top pocket. Easy enough to put something there to help, but a bit of an oversight I think by the manufacturer. Overall though, good quality product, stylish, comfortable, and does the job I bought it for.

Too Soft, Not Enough Protection - Not for Mirrorless
If you have a small mirrorless camera like a Sony a6500 and are looking for a protective bag, I would suggest to look somewhere else. There is too much space and not enough velcro dividers. The bag is very large and looks relatively stylish for a "cheap" camera bag. Considering the size of the bag, the price appeared very attractive. I was looking for a bag which could hold my camera gear and cloths for a weekend away. The size was perfect for this. However, the bag did not seem very sturdy and protective. I also felt like there was too much space in the camera compartment. The bag could easily do with one or two more velcro dividers. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to buy additional, spare velcro dividers. I returned this bag and went for a more expense Loewe bag - see my other review ( Lowepro LP37016-PWW Flipside Trek BP 450 AW Backpack for Camera, Grey/Dark Green ). It looks better, appears very sturdy and comfortable. At the end, you get what you pay for. I would recommend the bag only for larger cameras which were not too expensive. Excellent backpack, great value for money
This has turned out to be an excellent product! I had reservations about the quality and the size of this item before purchasing, but in both regards it has turned out to be excellent and entirely suitable. I was looking for a bag capable of taking a camera, a couple of lenses, some kit and tripod, plus gear for a full days hiking for two people; flask, picnic, raincoats etc. My partner and I hike and take photos (well, she takes photos and I carry the bag and drink tea!) The padding in this bag provides peace of mind that the camera and gear will come to no harm and the dividers in the sections are easy to change and reconfigure. It is also surprisingly comfortable to wear over long periods of time. We recently hiked some large hills in the Carpathians and this bag stood up to the challenge admirably. It also seems to be highly waterproof - the Ukrainian snow did not penetrate it. All the zips work perfectly and the side straps are easily adjustable. It was delivered promptly and well packaged. I have no reservations in recommending this product.

Fantastic large camera bag
Very well made - I have had mine for about 6 months and had no issues. Usually carrying a D800, 3 lenses including a fast tele-zoom, tripod, monopod, speedlight, clothing, batteries and accessories! It's comfortable and well thought out, the pop-up flaps on the shoulder straps are a brilliant addition that makes a big difference if you're using the kit strap or have a heavy setup. Highly recommended.
