SM31FH Fitness Headset Condenser Microphone

My brother is a functional fitness instructor and LesMills trainer, and he absolutely loves this headset. The sound is clear, and it stays comfortable and secure even during intense workouts and constant movement. It works very well for teaching classes and leading routines at the gym. He is extremely happy with it. Highly recommended!

As a Les Mills instructor, my classes demand gear that can keep up with the intensity of our workouts, and the Shure SM31 headset has exceeded my expectations on every front. From its lightweight design to its crystal-clear sound quality, this headset has become an essential part of my teaching arsenal. Firstly, comfort is key during those high-energy classes, and the SM31 delivers. Its secure and adjustable fit ensures it stays in place no matter how dynamic my movements are. I never have to worry about it slipping or becoming uncomfortable, allowing me to focus entirely on delivering an engaging and motivating workout experience to my participants. Sound quality is where the SM31 truly shines. The microphone captures my voice with exceptional clarity, even amidst the upbeat music and enthusiastic crowd. This is crucial for ensuring my instructions are heard clearly by everyone in the room, enhancing the overall experience and keeping the energy levels high throughout the session. Durability is another standout feature. Les Mills classes can be rigorous, with lots of movement and sweat, but the SM31 is built to withstand it all. Its rugged construction and water-resistant design mean I can rely on it class after class, without worrying about performance degradation. One of the most impressive aspects of the SM31 is its versatility. Whether I'm teaching BodyCombat, BodyPump, or RPM, the headset adapts effortlessly. It provides consistent performance across different environments and class formats, making it a versatile tool that enhances my teaching capabilities. Setup and usability are also straightforward, which is a huge plus when you're juggling playlists, choreography, and motivating a group of participants. The headset integrates seamlessly with my existing sound system, and the intuitive controls ensure I can make quick adjustments on the fly without missing a beat. In conclusion, the Shure SM31 headset has become an indispensable part of my teaching routine. Its combination of comfort, exceptional sound quality, durability, and versatility makes it the perfect choice for any Les Mills instructor looking to elevate their classes to the next level. Highly recommended for anyone serious about delivering impactful fitness experiences!

I am a fitness coach and have used this headset for 6 years. It works good but like clockwork, it had to be replaced every single year, and i took extremely good care of this headset. Definitely buy the warranty

Make sure you you dont need a 3 pin XLR receiver, only works with 4 pin XLR. These mics are great though.

Im a GX Instructor for about 10 years now and I've been looking for a nice mic for quite awhile now since covid hit - I just want to have my own instead. Ive purchased a couple mics here and there but none of them really 'works' BUT .. This one right here!!! FINALLY!!! The search is over! I am so happy with this and im glad I found it. It works really good, quality of the sound is good - my students can hear me Loud and Clear. The product is very light, it fits good around my neck. It's a little pricey ... but its ok. I used it the same night and im so very happy.

Great Receiver/Sound.

I have absolutely no idea why these mics are considered to be perfect for fitness other than the rubber, and the slight modifications that they've done to prevent sweat and moisture from getting into the mouthpiece. These mics are horrible and, of course, we realized it outside of our return window. We are a boutique fitness studio and ordered the wireless set earlier in the year that came with one of these mics. Before we even opened our doors, we ordered two additional headsets for our additional instructors. HUGE MISTAKE. On our opening day, we had complaints that we sounded underwater and totally muffled. We checked our speakers, checked the settings on our mixer, and spent countless hours messing with the balance of everything. Still, nothing. We sounded awful. When playing the music alone in our class, it sounded perfect. When using the mic alone, there was a slight echo but nothing major...however, when we turned up that sound? Horrible. Finally, one of our instructors grabbed an old Shure WH20 from her bag and plugged it into our system. Underwater, echoing sound? Gone. Crisp vocals right over our music. So now we're stuck with three of these "fitness" mics that were absolutely awful, and I dropped another $300 on three WH20 headsets. Amazon won't let me return the SM31FH's, so I'm going to go ahead and send a little Email to Shure. Adding rubber to headsets is great and all, but when the quality of the mic itself is compromised? Totally not worth the buy.

This Mike sounded surprisingly well for its price point. The cardio pattern helps if you’re moving around a lot and you’re anywhere near your speakers. Some people said the cord was too short but they must have really long torsos. It worked fine for me with even some extra cable stashed in my pocket. Some reported it breaking in a critical area. I haven’t Owned it long enough to determine if it’s really fragile point. But I do tend to take extra care of my equipment, especially microphones. Only time will tell if the wiring goes intermittent at its connectors. Overall this was a good goodbye and I’d buy it again.

Fantastic

Best quality mic, wouldn’t use anything else. Item arrived quickly. Highly recommend.
