Yes, you will need a heat gun as the vinyl's adhesive is heat activated. Heat softens the vinyl which makes it more pliable and stretchable, making it a lot either install. Post heating also contributes to the long term durability of the vinyl wrap.

Does this vinyl wrap come with a protective cap?

Yes, all Ultra Gloss rolls come with a stretchable protective cap. Which can be installed without removing throughout the entire wrap process. For precision cuts, seams and joints, make sure to remove the cap in those areas.

Can I wrap my car at home?

Yes you can. You will need a dust/particle free space to properly install your vinyl wrap. You will need the proper cleaning material to prep your car before the wrap and the essential tools (heat gun, knife, etc) for the install process.
