Perfect solution for a lighting issue!!
Bought these bulbs for my back hallway. When entering from outside at night, we don’t have a switch in the hallway to turn on the light. The only switch we have is in our kitchen. When using these bulbs, the switch must remain in the “on” position at all times. These bulbs solve the problem perfectly!! As soon as you enter, the light senses movement and turns on. It will remain on while you are in the general area of the bulb. It shuts off automatically after you leave the area. It has saved me the burden of adding a switch in the hallway. I absolutely love this product!!

Worth every penny!
I bought these for the garage. The light on the garage door opener is very dim because it's enclosed, even with a max rated bulb. I needed something to light up the garage when returning at night, without having to physically get out of the truck and walk to the switch for the overhead light, which is not quickly/easily accessible. This allows me to pull in and unload the car, without turning on the switch lights. It's great! As soon as my head lights turn off, these bulbs turn on, as long as there is motion for them to detect. They stay on for a while after motion stops and then turn off on their own. Very bright white, which is great for a dark garage or outdoor setting. They do not turn on if another light source (such as headlights or sunlight) is detected, and they turn off several seconds after the motion stops, so they are very energy efficient. We like them so much, even when we are coming from the house, by the light switch, we rarely use the standard lighting anymore. I'm going to buy another to try in an outdoor outlet. I think as long as you understand the movement has to be within their range of detection and plan for that, you won't be disappointed.

Work as promised, detects my cats, not bright enough for shadowy garages
Both bulbs stopped working within weeks of each other and at 8 months. The seller replaced them no questions asked since there is a 1 yr warranty. Shipping was a little delayed, but the items were received. Still very happy with the products. New ones have been in about 3 months. The seller mentioned (in the questions section) that the lights sense body heat and will stay on it you're under them. I have not found this to be true. You have to be moving, and near the light (within 10ft) in my garage. ---------------------------- Bought May 2018 and Jan 2019 one stopped working. Had written to seller about the 1yr warranty. Will update. ------------------------------- I use a set of these in my garage where I keep the cat litter pans. They are bright but they are not bright enough to be useful working garage lights. Inside your house or even on your porch they probably would be just fine. If I could find brighter I'd switch them but that's because you always need a ton of light in garages. I do anyway, since we do some woodworking projects sometimes. These lights are a bit shadowy. They are plenty useful for my need to provide motion lights for cats. For that purpose they work great. The cats walk down two steps and get almost two strides before the detector picks them up. It's just about perfect since I was worried it wouldn't recognize them at all. When the humans walk in it's just slightly faster to pick them up. Overall a great, useful buy for my needs but they need to be much brighter to be useful in a shadowy garages it that is your purpose. Garage height 10-11ft, bulbs are about 8ft from each other and work perfectly.

Bought It Again
This is my second time buying these bulbs. The motion sensor works reliably and the light is bright. I use them indoors and they turn on quickly when someone walks by. In my experience, each bulb lasts about two years, which is pretty good. Easy to install and very convenient.

Perfect!
I wish I got these sooner. Not realizing that motion sensing light bulbs existed I had initially bought one pricey big brand smart light bulb for my back door. That ended up not working out because it had a hard time staying connected to my home network from outside. I came across these bulbs and thought I'd give them a try. I preferred the PIR motion sensor because I didn't want something overly sensitive that turns on when the wind blows or cars drive by, and these bulbs definitely fit the bill. After their maiden voyage last night when I was finishing up some yardwork as the early fall/winter darkness came, the light only came on when I approached my front or back door, not as I was moving around my yard at a distance, or when cars drove by. It was perfect, and I'm sure it will make unlocking my door when coming home after dark much easier. I also got a couple for my dank spidery basement that I hate going into. It's made it a much less stressful experience since I don't have to look for the lights and anymore. I actually feel safer. We'll see if they last, but so far 5/5 ⭐s. The only drawback was the labeling on the packaging. I bought warm and cool bulbs for different areas and I had a hard time finding the label that said which color was which on the box. It was on there though, just in small print and hard to find, especially since they appeared to come in different generations of packaging.

Does not last 20 years as stated on box
I guess it would last that long (20 years) in a socket as long as you don’t turn it on and off AT ALL. As some people mentioned it doesn’t work all the time maybe 65% of time it works as should or it’s overly sensitive. Goes on when there’s NOTHING there. (Maybe detects a spider? If there was, my doorbell camera would likely to have picked it up too. I followed the instructions for installing and not to have any enclosure frame or anything around it so it can work better but it didn’t. First one quit working and only had it couple of years. Maybe they meant to say it would last 20 months? (Who knows). It’s bright, works properly 65% of time, every energy efficient…if it never works at all? I think this brand might need some more tweaking.

Not a serious problem I saw in this product except one out of 6 which didn't work

It works great, but for its motion detection to work, the object needs to be very close to it. It can only detect from just within a few feet (like 10 to 15 feet away). I even removed my lighting fixture cover and leave the bulb completely exposed.

They work ok. I have 3 of them in my garage, they go on if it’s dark. If it’s even a little bit light (not light enough to navigate the room) they will not go on. I have a window in the garage that I had to cover up in order for them to turn on during the day. They only stay on maybe 30 seconds and sometimes when they turn themselves off and I’m still working in the garage, they won’t come back on even when I’m waving my hands right below it! So if you just need them for a little while and at night, they work great, otherwise they are just ok.

Less than 2 years in and one bulb stopped working. Considering LED should last about 25 year, this one didn’t make to it’s 2nd birthday.
