I took a pearl out of a shell in Broome, Australia years ago. This was a mini version, used a bunt cutlery knife and ended up with 4 lovely pearls, colours as shown online. The Blue pearls shell 'meat' had blue dye on it, but did not take away from the experience and lovely pearls. May purchase again as gifts for young relatives.

Bought for my girlfriend, who loved opening them. Pearls were of good variety, if a bit in the small side. Pendent is ok, but not what the item was bought for.

This was really good Our granddaughter really enjoyed us opening the shells and she then chose the pearl she wanted for the necklace

Purchase as a gift and kids had fun opening them, pearls are very nice, the dark one had a slight flaw but as to the character when it's place in the necklace.

Cheep feeling necklace made from steel, it said sterling silver in the description at the time of purchase, so buyer beware. Fun to open, pearls are of lower quality but would still be pretty to wear, it's just a shame about the necklace being so poor let's it all down for me. I'd rather pay more and have better quality but all seems to be the same. If the pearls were better or the necklace silver I would give it 5 starts but both are cheap.
