A collection of Rumi’s best, most beloved poetry—presented in one pocket-sized volume for on-the-go inspiration The renowned Persian Sufi mystic Mevlâna Jalâluddin Rumi (1207–1273) is one of the most widely read poets in the world today. His compassionate insight into the nature of human existence, his joyful humor, his deep wisdom, and his ecstatic songs of divine union have endeared him to readers for more than seven hundred years. Selected from his most-loved works, this book contains the very best of Rumi's poetry in superb translation. By turns soaring, inspiring, lyrical, entertaining, and always full of profound guidance, Rumi’s transcendent words penetrate to the very depths of one’s heart, offering eloquent expression for what lies there. The Shambhala Pocket Library is a collection of short, portable teachings from notable figures across religious traditions and classic texts. The covers in this series are rendered by Colorado artist Robert Spellman. LOVED IT!
It was fantastic, little pieces of beauty and love within the lines of Rumi. Great to read in between moments, to help one pounder the real meaning of life. Instead of getting caught up in the mundane and frivolous. Be Blessed, stay Stoic, and may you ever be, with the Creator! God Bless.

Great quality and a must-have!
It truly amazing collection of literary art. Rumi has always been one of those that sticks with you through life, through the good and the bad. It's nice to have the perfect little collection that can fit in your pocket or work bag that doesn't take up too much space and has a lot to offer. This book is quite thick at 307 odd pages it's a little larger than a deck of cards and about three quarters of an inch thick. Definitely not complaining about that it's actually one of its greatest aspects.

Gorgeous Little Book
When my black Lab died, I went to the Agape book store looking for anything that might help get me through the day. I randomly picked up this little book and randomly opened it to page 84. I have read that poem over and over again, and have read it to help others who were grieving for whatever reason. I recently sent a copy to a friend and she read me a poem rom it that I hadn't read before. This book is a little jewel.

Make room for Rumi!!
This is a wonderful little book of some of the profoundly beautiful works of the 13th century Sufi poet Rumi. Every book shelf should have a copy. I often keep mine in my pocket and it's brilliant for those stressful times in waiting rooms or long queues or just whilst sitting in a cafe. To quote him from one of my favourite poems: "Beyond the idea of right-doing and wrong-doing there is a field; I'll meet you there." Enough said.
