Great trail running shoes, they are good for all things trail no matter the distance, I find them handy for quick hikes too. A few hundred miles later they are still in decent condition quite comfortable, and waterproof depending on circumstance, the grip can be funny in the wet and takes adjusting but I used them for climbing too and they worked, snug fit so get half a size bigger!

I love these trainers so much, the colours are awesome (well I think they are). This is my 3rd pair of Salomon Speedcross Goretex shoes and I absolutely love them - good for trail runs giving perfect support, nice grip, breath well and not too heavy. I am normally around a 10.5 to 11 in normal shoes and boots but these need to be a 12, which also allow for a little bit of space when your feet enlarge with the heat on a run. The sole grip won't last long if you do a lot of tarmac so watch out for that. Highly recommended.

Fit is always somewhat individual but beyond that you can't really go wrong with these for winter trail running. Loads of grip, waterproof, and comfortable construction. They're a lot heavier than lighter running shoes obviously but depending on the conditions absolutely worth it

First time I went out in them I came home with soggy feet and the great thing about Gortex is once water gets in it keeps it in. They're OK for walking the dog and trail running but for proper off track running in wet conditions I prefer trainers that drain and dry quickly like Innov8s mudclaws. On the plus side they're light, comfortable and have good grip. I'm normally a 10 with quite broad feet, but the 10.5 of these fit perfectly. The fiddly lacing system takes longer to fasten up than normal laces if you tuck all the bits in where you're supposed to.

Brilliant trainers, super comfortable, even out of the box. Had some for a few years but we're destroyed eventually from OCR, good support of arch.

These are the best shoes I’ve owned! This is my 3rd pair in the last several years and no other shoe fits me like these. I’m very confident they won’t shift when running an IDPA style match or working on a construction project. This particular pair look and feel really good just walking around the office. I have a healthy arch and the support in these shoes is fantastic. I’m a Salomon fan for life!

Die Schuhe wurden mir durch einen Kollegen empfohlen, der Triathlon und Marathon läuft. Ich selbst laufe "nur" 3-7km zu 75% im Wald alle zwei Tage. Die Schuhe sitzen wie eine zweite Haut. Der Halt im Wald ist sehr gut. Auf Asphalt sind die Schuhe auf Dauer nicht sehr angenehm, verfehlt aber auch den Zweck.

Nice shoes, I like them. I saw a few reviews saying the size was off, but not for me. I usually wear a US 9 and the Speedcross in US 9 are a normal fit for me. IF you have a very wide foot then maybe go up half a size but for an average shaped foot I'd just try your normal size.

履き心地はタイトめに作られてます。一度実店舗で試し履きするといいです。 ソールは厚く、クッション性があり長時間歩いても心地いい状態が続きます。森林限界以下の登山ならこれで十分、満足な山行になります。 岩場などはソールが柔らかい分、少し歩きづらいと感じました。ファッション目当てで買いましたが、日常使いにもとてもいい商品です。
