I've had this system for a year now and it has remained outdoors for the entire time. I am very happy with it - the pulleys are sturdy and reliable, the rope has stood the elements well and the snap links are also well made and sturdy. I put them under quite a bit of strain, holding a sun sail up and they are more than up to the task. My only negative is that the edges of the gates on the snap links are rough and catch the rope, so you might need to file the edges a little to prolong the life of the rope. However, don't let this put you off - it is a minor point. 5*'s

Ordered 7 piece kit... Got 3 pieces - no hooks, only one pully, etc as pictured. Not overly impressed, but I shall see if I can work with this. Update - seller acknowledged their mistake and offered to send the correct item in addition to the more expensive one that had sent me. I actually already did the job and the pulleys they had sent were more than adequate so I have updated this with a more generous review - the items were very good, just a genuine mistake to which they were very responsive.

This item had all that I needed to make my own "Easy Motorhome Awning Pulley System". The strength and quality of the components was better than I had hoped for and did the job admirably. It has always been a struggle erecting my (heavy) air framed motorhome awning. Feeding the awning into the Fiamma rail was difficult, even with two people. Using the components provided with this kit has enabled me to construct the pulley system shown in the attached photo. One carabiner (r.h.s.) attaches to the winding ring of the Fiamma blind, the other (l.h.s.) to the eyelet of the awning beading and hey presto feeding the awning into the rail becomes a one person job as it is now possible to both feed the awning beading from the left hand side of the rail and at the same time pull the awning along the channel to the right. Brilliant.

Used to lift 6'x4' fence panels into place. Made the job easy and safe. Good pulleys and plenty of rope so excellent value.

A nice little kit but not quite as advertised. The shiny stainless steel appearance of the pulleys in the picture is not matched by the dull, stained finish on the items I was sent. Also the two sleeves serve no purpose. The picture implies that they somehow help to form nice clean loops at the end of the string (it’s too thin to call a rope) but this isn’t possible ... you can’t crimp the sleeves so the rope just slips out of them. Have had to tie unsightly knots instead

I use mine for hauling up bigger stuff up into the loft, but I will say, these are NOT made for anything heavy, I just use them for bulky stuff

Bought this to put up as a new washing rope. It's brilliant. I don't have strength in my hands and since this went up, I can now hang out washing as the rope glides smoothly over the runners. Highly recommend.
