K&F CONCEPT 77mm Magnetic MCUV Lens Protection Filter | 1s Swap, Magnetic Ultra-Slim UV Lens Filter with Microfiber Cleaning Cloth for Camera Lens (K Series)-FG301

Good product, Good price

As a casual photographer who enjoys snapping pictures during vacations and family gatherings, the K&F Concept Magnetic UV Filter has been an absolute game-changer for me. The package includes a magnetic UV filter and a microfiber cleaning cloth, which makes it incredibly convenient to swap filters in just one second. The threaded part stays securely on the lens, and the magnetic part allows for quick addition of other K&F Concept magnetic filters. I keep this one on and then I don't have to worry so much about a lens cap while I'm shooting. Obviously I still use a cap when traveling and transporting, but this filter protects the glass just fine. This UV filter not only protects my lens from dust and scratches but also effectively absorbs UV rays, eliminating the blue tone in my photos and ensuring clear and vibrant images. The imported Japanese AGC glass used in the filter delivers razor-sharp images while maintaining the true colors of my shots. Plus, the ultra-slim frame prevents any vignetting on my wide-angle and telephoto lenses, which is a huge plus! The NANOTEC coating is another standout feature, providing 94% light transmission and significantly reducing reflections. This ensures that my images remain true to their colors, even in challenging lighting conditions. Just make sure to verify your camera's lens thread size before ordering – it’s clearly marked next to a "Φ" symbol on the lens. For instance, Φ67 means a 67mm lens thread size. Overall, this magnetic UV filter has enhanced my photography experience, and I highly recommend it to any fellow casual photographer looking for an easy and effective lens protection solution.

One thing recommended to me a long time ago was to use good but inexpensive UV filters as lens protectors. Pretty much get one and then just leave it on until it gets trashed. That's my goal with this one for my Canon 80D lens. I'm also a bit worried about scratching my optics since I'm a bit rough with, well, everything I own. This will give me a little piece of mind that I won't wreck something just leaving it sitting on a work bench. I don't tend to use filters enough to mess with the magnetic feature much, but having that option available may change that. I just don't see where I'd need to swap filters quickly for things like astrophotography. :) Came well packages and sealed, and arrived undamaged. Doesn't seem to cause any issues with my images which is also a concern with aftermarket filters. The 80D already has a built-in UV filter in the sensor assembly, so there's no added benefit in my case. So, decent filter that doesn't hinder photos from what I can tell.

Despite this filter’s very low price, I can’t see a difference in the image quality at all. I actually took two test photos and now I can’t tell them apart. (I’m using a 32.5 MP Canon R7 with the Sigma 18-35 f/1.8) This lens filter is very thin and also has filter threads on the front, so that you can still use the normal lens cap. I believe the filter is multi-coated, as when tilted into the light, you can see a green or magenta color. Unfortunately, I don’t have any of K&F Concept’s Magnetic filters, so I don’t know how well that feature works. I only have two complaints: (1) the filter was packaged OK, but there was some wiggle room in the plastic case it came in. (2) The Sigma lens cap doesn’t set fully down on top of the filter, so the lens cap falls off easier. Overall, this is an AMAZING deal for a filter. Again, I see absolutely no reduction in image quality. It is very likely that I will get another of these in the future.

the magnetic mount and filters work fine. Only problems is that the filters won't allow for the lens shade to be attached. the filters are just a bit larger then the lens not allowing the lens shade to slide ove them and be attached otherwise, i would have given it a 5* rating

This is quite amazing to me that you can get an 82mm UV filter with 18 layers of coating for just $20. From what I can tell, there is no loss of contrast or color shift taking place. If anything, you may experience different flare patterns at certain angles (which I am a fan of) and will be experimenting with that. Not only does a UV filter add protection to your lens but it also makes the front element waterproof. On top of that, if you've ever had the chance to play around with magnetic filters it works flawlessly with those as well. I plan on getting a few more of these to keep on my lenses at all times so I can easily swap/stack my other magnetic filters in seconds. Highly recommend!

Magnets are very weak and the fit is off - the filter moves side to side when attached to another filter and is so weakly attached that it comes off with the lens cap every time.

This is a true to size, exact fit lens filter. I do like the magnetic attachment--it works well. Great for a beginner or veteran alike!

Great for protecting your glass.

Good but magnet could be stronger

Perfecto para mí equipo fotográfico

I am very pleased with the service, received in time and exactly what I ordered. Keep up the good work.
