Anatural remedy for sinus pain and excess mucus
Has already helped alleviate my partner's morning mucus-fest. It alleviated his sinus pain, and cleared it up in a day or two. I use a tiny drop in each nostril daily, as recommended by ayurveda, to help keep the sinuses clear and to clear the head. It is part of an ancient self care system which really seems to work. I learnt of its use from Dr. David Frawley's book 'Ayurveda, nature's medicine' , which I bought here on Amazon. Highly recommended read if you are interested in self healing through diet and simple, naturla daily remedies

Didn't work at all
I can't give this more than one star as it didn't help at all, plus is really awful to use as it burns. Would not recommend for sinus issues.

This is great!
I used it but as some people were saying, it did not gave me a burning feeling and that is why I am giving 4 star! if it gives burning feeling it means it works! but it is good and it makes loads of stuff to come out. it is very useful but it is not solving the problem 100% . you can use it in conjunction with other things you do for your sinus problems. it works.

Excellent product!
I just tried this product, and noticed that it is of very good quality, and it is the real deal. Very ayurvedic!

Good, but not for me
As a non Indian person who follows Ayurveda, I used this after neti pot. I found it too strong for my untrained nose, but I think it is very good quality oil and herbs. Too strong for me, though. It was easy to measure the amount of drops desired. I heat the whole bottle, so a glass bottle will be better for my desire, as when heating the plastic bottle, this can leach on to the oil and that would go in my body. I won't buy anymore, but the oils feel quality.

Nasty taste
Taste reminded me off cooking oil that had been left for a long time after being used, not that I've ever tasted this kind of cooking oil, but smelt it, old chip pan oil.. Didn't have any effect on me at all, was disappointed as the reviews seem to be positive

Bottle was half empty and not full as advertised

Because this is oil-based, there is a chance for it to go rancid after awhile -- but this brand does not do that. That speaks to the quality of the production process. Traditionally, the production process prevents rancidity but many brands take shortcuts. Anu Tailam is a wonder treatment. I have recommended this to friends over and over again. It clears built-up mucus in the sinus area, and even seems to aid memory function.

I started using this product after seeing a video by Nityanandam Shree on Anu oil. While he did not recommend a brand, I picked this one based on Amazon reviews. I am on my second bottle now. I have had great success with mucus build up in my nostrils. This product works better than Jal neti or Sutra neti for me. It breaks down mucus in areas jal neti is not able to. To prep for this, I warm up some sesame oil and massage my face with warm sesame oil. I wipe my face with a warm towel. This helps with loosening your sinuses and the mucus within. I lie on the floor, tilt my head back and pour 2 drops in each nostril. Snort deeply so that oil drops go back as far as possible into your nasal chambers. I lie there for about 4-5 min letting it soak in and get as far back as possible. I usually do this first thing in the morning. Nityanandam Shree advices that we do not do it on rainy days, so I avoid those times.

There is no protective seal of any kind. Agree with all the negative reviews. It’s a very tiny bottle to begin with. Just 10 ml and a LOT of oil will pour out as the hole is too large. Be prepared for some spillage. I expected half the bottle to be empty but I only received a 1/4 of the bottle as half of the producthad spilled expectedly so as it’s poorly designed and without any seal of any kind. I had purchased this at an Indian store for $2 and liked the ingredients. But getting this semi-rancid, leaking poor quality PLASTIC bottle for $7 is not worth it imo. YMMV.

I bought this to use as part of a nasal cleansing ritual called nasya, an Ayurvedic practice I read about in an effort to help cleanse my sinuses and brain from toxins. According to the practice you put a few drops in each nostril while tilting your head off the edge of the bed so oil can run into sinuses. I tried it for the first time this morning and can say that the oil smells amazing and refreshing and has a very soothing texture. It was also the ONLY OIL I found that did not contain sesame oil - all the others have a sesame base - and this was important to me because I have a sesame allergy. I also love that it contains a ton of different herbal elements (more than any other nasal oil I found) in the ingredients and is very well priced and arrived quickly. I’m eager to report progress!
