Do these come already attached as garland or need to be assembled

They are attached as garland.Thanks.

What is the center of the roses, that holfs the roses together?

Not sure I understand the question, but the center part looks like a bud and is the same material as the petals.

are.the roses dark burgandy or dark red ,red like red wine?

The roses are not a true red, and not a deep burgundy, either--more like a dark red wine. They were packed very tightly in a plastic bag, and I thought they would not fill out, but they did. They are full, and very pretty. I used them on my bed headboard with white roses for Valentine's Day. Very happy with them.
