Contains what the birds enjoy and need
Garden birds of many varieties love these fat cakes. They have completed a regular winter food supply for them in my garden for a long time now. Ground feeders will need alternative ways to provide this content. Unfortunately wily squirrels soon see where birds are enjoying this and sneak to help themselves too. A variety of birds enjoy this, together with seeds in other containers. These include all the Tit family, nuthatch, finches etc. Ground feeders need to have all varieties of food protected from the somewhat greedy pigeons!.

Good value, nice sturdy packaging.
Birds love these. They work out great value per unit. Recommended to get the birds into your garden. Not solid hard, softer than others, so much better than others. I will get these again.

The birds queue up for it.
The birds love it, it does not soften as quickly as some others at three times the price, which in this weather is a good thing. Will/Has become my regular supply. Been using these for some time now and I have to confirm, the birds love it. The blue tits, great tits, long tailed tits, robins, and magpies all consume these with gusto. Not only that since using this block we have daily visits from a gang of starlings, something we have not had before. Even the parakeets will have a go, but their favourite is peanuts, the same goes for the nut hatches. The woodpeckers like both. The Dunnocks vacuum up the bits that fall on the ground, providing they get there before the crows and the wood pigeons. The greenfinches and the chaffinches tend to stick to seeds and the blackbirds prefer berries or worms. You would not think this is South London.

Very pleased with this product!
These arrived really quickly and presented very well as you would expect from Peckish. This is a new addition to my wild bird feeding - only introduced last week, the wild birds do prefer the Peckish fat balls still though, but I have been feeding fat balls for many years so they may take a little time to take to the new product. I purchased the feeder cage and some blocks in a store local to me - but noticed the cheaper suet cake block I originally purchased from my store was more fat than seed, I am pleased to report that the Peckish ones are bursting with seed though - so I am very pleased with that. I feel I have received value for money here - little bit more expensive but when purchased in a 10 pack the difference in cost is so small it is well worth it. Highly recommend. 4 stars on flavour - as I cannot comment myself :) and the birds are slow on the uptake as it is a new feed introduced to them

Birds love them, good quality
I used to really dislike that each block was wrapped in an individual plastic bag HOWEVER the blocks are now covered with grease proof paper rather than individually wrapped in plastic, brilliant

Very popular in my garden!
I have never seen so many birds on my feeder than with these suet cakes! At one point I had two clutches of starlings, two families of blackbirds, a pair of magpies, a pair of collared doves and I can't tell you how many blue tits all competing over it. I had to limit it to one a day but I think they could easily have got through two or even 3 had I put them out. The peanuts, seed and other branded fat balls I put out in the trees, usually pretty popular, went more or less ignored for preference to these suet cakes.

Slightly...
...more expensive than similar products but with the higher price comes a higher quality. The suet is packed with much more content than other brands. Who is it that chooses the product features to rate in the review? Value for money, well OK, but flavour and sturdiness? Really? Can they not choose something more appropriate to the product such as packaging for example? Very strange.
