What is the mixture for Moderately thick. My daughter needs the honey consistency

To achieve moderately thick consistency, add 2.4g (1 stick) per 2 fl. oz. Moderately thick (aka honey) should only be used under the direction of a medical professional. It can be difficult to pass this thicker consistency through a nipple, increasing risk of poor oral intake.

Can it be used for water and juice?

Hi! Yes, you can thicken water or juice with Gelmix, however you still have to WARM the liquid first. If your little one is over 1 year old, consider using Purathick instead. It is made by the same company as Gelmix and thickens cold liquids too, so easier to use for water and juice.

Does this product contain a measuring spoon and if so what is the scoop amount?

The box of Gelmix 2.4g sticks include 30 individual serving stick packs, each stick containing one serving of 2.4g of powder. If you were to purchase one of the Gelmix 125g jars, they come with a half serving 1.2g scoop in each jar.

Can it be mixed with room temperature water for going out?

Gelmix must be mixed with warm water initially to activate the thickening properties, but just Gelmix + warm water thickened in advance can be stored at room temperature for up to 24 hours in a clean sealed container. Then, when you're ready to feed, just add the powder formula to your pre thickened water.
