FARAON Nacho Cheese, 15 Ounce (Pack of 12)

This is a good nacho cheese that tastes similar to what you get from many stadium concession stands. That is good, because at least you have an expectation of what it will taste like. I had to throw out a whole large can of another brand (which many rated highly) that was just awful because it didn't melt no matter how hot it got, tasted strongly of black pepper, and had no heat. I like the plastic lids on these and reuse them for lots of things, like refried beans that I also put on my nachos sometimes. I also like the Rosarita nacho cheese, but Amazon is only selling them in 6 six packs of large 8 lb cans right now and I can't find it locally. Amazon - I don't want 40 lbs of nacho cheese in my pantry. Anyway, I'll stick with Faraon for the foreseeable future. It really is very good and also very convenient. It's just a tad pricey compared to larger cans.

I swear this stuff is becoming my blood type we eat it so much. So good and it does not taste artificial like a lot of cheese sauce. I love that it comes with a lid so you could save leftovers (but in my house there is never any).

Great tasting stadium style flavor, I like to put this on my favorite tortilla chips with some finely chopped carne asada meat and jalapeno slices on top, also good over french fries and if you're not a big fan of vegetables this sauce tastes great on broccoli and cauliflower! quick tip: El Mexicano is another brand with similar flavor that you can sometimes get at a better price point.

It could be a little more spicy 🌶 Really convenient having them in the cans with lids. I used to buy the big cans at Sam’s Club and threw a lot away.

I'm usually a little picky when it comes to cheese. I'm not a huge fan of cheap and oily cheese but I got to say this cheese is really good. It's creamy and not oily, got a good flavor and a good spice to it. I just added some to my Baked potato tonight to spice it up since i didn't have any Shredded cheese to go on it and turned our really well. Will be buying this again when i run out. I also like the Idea it came with a lid so once it's opened you can close it up with a lid and put in the fridge.

It tastes like actual cheese and it has a jalapeno pepper flavor in it which I like. I use this for dipping tostito chips but I mostly use it for dipping taquitos which are rolled up tacos. Each can has a plastic lid which you can cover back up if you wanna save some for later. Any leftover cheese should be put in the refrigerator. If it's in the fridge for more than a week, it will lose it's thickness and will turn watery. However even if it's like water, you can still eat it as it doesn't spoil easily. One time I kept a can in the fridge for a couple of weeks, it was still good.

We love love love this cheese, but every time we get it from Amazon (3 times now), we get dented cans. This time, 11 of the 12 cans were dented, and it's not like they were dented during shipment because the worst dents were the cans in the center. I think they intentionally pack up their defective cans and give them to Amazon customers.

If I could give this a 10 star review I would. I bought this for my daughter's birthday party for a nacho bar and it was such a hit. We had about 40 people eating tons of it and still we have so much leftover. We've been eating nachos for days. It tastes just like the nacho cheese from taco bell. Just a tiny bit of spice. Definitely recommend!
