I love this hairspray! Ive been using Rave since the early 2000's and its my go to to keep my hair in place. Best of all? Its so affordable! This hair spray does what it says. It keeps your hairstyle in place all day! The only downside is the sprayer tends to get gunked up and needs to be cleaned because it dries on it. Otherwise perfect hairspray if you dont want to have a hair out of place! Before you spray make sure you have your hair exactly the way you want it because you have less than 30 seconds to touch it up before its not moving lol doesnt dull the shine of your hair and the can is pretty sturdy. Its come in with some dings but otherwise excellent. Doesn't affect the contents at all.

I ordered this because the price was low, but it ended up working just as well as more expensive hairsprays I’ve tried. It gives a really solid hold without making my hair feel stiff or crunchy. My style stayed in place all day, even with running around and being on the go. The spray is light and even, so it doesn’t leave buildup or that heavy coated feeling. It also brushes out easily at the end of the day, which I appreciate. The scent is clean and not overpowering. For the price, this is a great find and does exactly what you need it to do. I’ll definitely keep buying this one.

Rave is a brand I've always been curious about for hairspray. It has a pleasant scent, it doesn't clog the nozzle, and it doesn't feel super sticky. The hold is awesome! I thought I didn't spray enough on when I crimped my hair but a little spray does go a long way! After 3 days I was still rocking my waves. The hold was firm but not stiff, however, I did get some flakes. I have yet to find a mega hold hairspray that doesn't flake. Two more pros for me: there was no relaxer reversion, and it is also a very good lace tint sealant!

I’ve been buying 3 bottles at a time for four years now. It’s better than most on the shelf. It lasts all day . Smells good not to pungent. It does cause build up after a few days if you don’t wash your hair every day. You have to buy a good shampoo like W.O.W or a stripper shampoo or you get those dreaded hair spay balls in your hair that look like lice. You know what I mean. I use Fructis pure clean once a week to get the residue out . And brush and comb my hair before I was it twice a week. I haven’t found a good hairspray in the store that holds like this one without havein to pay an arm and a leg for it. This one is a great price . Not all stores carry it . But when I see it I’ll purchase back up cans . I hate running out of it . It’s also a little wet on the hair when you first spray a lot . I haven’t found to tip my head down for a few seconds to get a little lift it does weigh the hair down. Most do if you want that all day hold . Try it I recommend you do.

First off this hairspray smells SOOO GOOD i’d buy a perfume scented like this. It smells very fresh and clean! I bought this for either $3 and some change or $4 and some change. Either way it was cheap and hair spray is anything but! I just bought a new curling iron and my hair is naturally wavy and has some curls but never wants to hold ironed curls. So i bought this one and the Garnier Fructis for double hold. I haven’t gotten around to curling my hair yet so that’ll be the ultimate test on how well this works but i did do a slick back bun and lemme tell you. she was SLICK. I love how everything’s held and smoothed back but it’s not all hard and crusty. I didn’t spray a whole lot but you can definitely feel there’s hairspray in my hair but not visually see, if that makes sense. In the past i’ve used hair spray that made it look like something sticky dried up in my hair. This hair spray doesn’t make it looks crunchy like that. The bottle is huge which i wasn’t expecting for the price. In the picture it looked small but it’s actually not. It’s 11oz compared to my $9 Garnier Fructis 8.25oz. It also dries quickly which i like. And the biggest thing for me is that it doesn’t leave the white flaky residue that makes it look like you have hella dandruff! I just added a little bit to my hair to show in the pic. Also you can brush your hair right out after with no hassle and it leave its feeling super duper soft and smelling really good. It also makes your hair look freshly washed for your non wash days! I know i just rambled about a hairspray but some of the reviews didn’t give this brand justice! Could be certain hair types but it works for mine! I have thin hair but a good amount and it’s wavy/curly with no volume at the top but lots of volume at the bottom. That’s another thing i like, it gives my hair volume at the root. I’ve always disliked having no volume at the top so i’m thankful it makes my hair look naturally voluminous. Thanks for listening to my ted talk, highly recommend trying! Here’s an update;) I curled my hair twice. Once Just the front pieces and a few strands of my wavy hair to match my curls and the other was the whole pony tail. Both times my curls stayed all day!! My curls never hold when i iron curl my hair and with this hair spray they did!! I didn’t have to load my hair up either! I just sprayed my whole pony tail a little before curling them, each piece a little spray after, then one final little spray when done!

Rave 4X Mega Long-Lasting Firm Hold is one of those products that’s been around forever and has definitely earned its spot. This hairspray does. not. play. When it says firm hold, it means firm hold. The 5X hold would leave my hair crunchy, nozzle would clog and stop working, and was not the vibe. With Rave 4x hold, my hair stays exactly where I put it, even through humidity, errands, and the occasional “why is the wind disrespecting me today?” moment. Application could not be easier, mist goes on easily and evenly, doesn’t leave that heavy, crunchy helmet feeling, and the scented version is actually nice—fresh without being overpowering. I appreciate that it keeps style in place all day without flaking, and it brushes out better than you’d expect from something with this much hold. If you want a hairspray that’s budget-friendly, strong enough to survive an apocalypse, but still wearable enough for everyday styling, Rave 4X is basically the dependable best friend of hair products. You can't beat the size of the can and size of volume for the price! TL;DR: Affordable, long-lasting, strong hold, smells good, and actually works.
