Practical Reliability Engineering, 5th Edition

The first reliability book I have purchased from Amazon. Very informative especially the sections on accelerated degradation testing methodology

I used this for a college course and it was informative, easy to read, and lots of supplemental exercises to further your learning.

This book was as syllabus requirement and we actually used this book a lot during the semester. The content is perfect for those who are involved with reliability engineering and Six Sigma practices. It gives the reader simple explanations of reliability and a great overview of the various forms of engineering. I had no clue what a Weibull distribution was until I began my studies with this book. This book describes the basics which helped me walk out of my class with an A- for a subject that I was unfamiliar with until I started studying the subject. If you do not get any other use out of this book as I did in class for my course, please use it as a reference.

I haven’t read the book yet, but I’m impressed with how quickly it arrived from the USA. The packaging was great, and the book looks high-quality. Looking forward to diving into it soon!

This book is an excellent desk reference for any engineer involved in reliability or testing of products. The math is intense, but I read it through at a high level and intend to go back and work some of the questions. As a new engineer, if this was not part of your college coursework, get this book. It will help you determine what test quantities and test durations are needed to prove reliability and confidence.

It’s a great intro to the field and does actually focus on being practical, unlike so many of the other texts that claim to be.

Book seems informative for reliability however whenever there is text with ‘if’ and only in that order it omits it such as in the example “confidence” which shows up as “con dence” which is irritating. Otherwise no other glaring issues.

Great book as a skill development resource as well as learning and understanding of Reliability principles and concepts.

Il libro é uno dei più interessanti e disincantati sulla reliability ma ...... ho acquistato la versione kindle e non ho apprezzato il modo in cui il libro é impaginato (in compenso può essere letto con una vasta gamma di dispositivi). Discutibile anche la scelta di non includere le soluzioni degli esercizi nel libro (sono scaricabili da un sito indicato nel libro). Sono scaricabili le slides degli argomenti del libro ... sarebbe stato meglio includerle anche nell'ebook. Infine, non é felice la impossibilità di utilizzare le funzioni TTS di Android con il kindle.
