These are PLASTIC, not metal!

I had expected more at this price point. I just opened the box, touched the cheap plastic base and said "these are not going on my car". I am sending them back - didn't even take them all the way out of the box. Disappointed - others sell the plastic mirrors for less, if that is what you are willing to settle for. Amazon offers (through Summit) all metal units, which I just bought, at near the same price point.
