Review: Maxxis Larsen is always a good option for the back wheel - Great option for the mountain bike rounds. I wanted one wheel for the whole year does not matter if it is moody, dry... And this option is the best I have tried so far. After 500 km I am still happy with it

Great for Texas Cross Country!
Amazon offered the lowest price on this item, even over all online bike retailers. The Larsen TT UST has been a great tire for Texas Cross Country...and some front range riding in Colorado. These tires are light and corner very well and generally last a year or so of hard riding. The only issue I have with the Maxxis line are the "air bubbles" that develop under the tread after a year of riding. I have never gotten a flat due to the bubbles, but always a concern on longer rides. I did have an issue with the Larsen's knobs simple breaking away from the tire after a years use as well. These issues could be due to the Texas heat and hard riding.
