Is a transformer needed to be used in the US?

Not at all. I can use it as it is.

Can I use this in Thailand

I believe so but you would prob need a plug adapter. My friends are able to use it in HK which is same voltage as Thailand I believe.

Is this v110 to v220? can i use it in hong kong?

I just went back from Hongkong and brought this product. Yes, you can use this in Hongkong, but you need a converter adaptor as the plug of Japanese brand and Hongkong is different. As for voltage, it is said to be AC 100 ~ 240 V. :)

For use in US do you need adapter

I think anything you get from Amazon US you can use it in the US without adapter. So no.
